Hi, I haven't got the chance to see the real car because I just came back from China, I'll be going there on this Saturday to test drive the car. I did ask some China people that I know over there why they chose Teana instead of Camry and Accord, and the answer is almost the same, because the Teana is the most comfortable in between these 3 cars, handling is ok, better than Camry, but some said Accord handling is better, but who cares the handling, because those people who decide to buy this kind of car, the most important factor sure is the level of comfort. But anyway, I got to see the car first and test drive it first.
*
Yes, ride in terms of drive and handling, accord is slightly better than teana and camry, particularly in road tracking n cornering at higher speed. Comfort wise, teana seems better. The cbu 2.5l from japan was selling at rm235k if i am not mistaken. So if the local assembled 2.5l is reasonably done, i wud say rm168k is still an attractive price. These are just my opinion of coz.

Well i am test driving this on monday. It's either teana or accord for me. Or maybe the 2012 camry danggg!!!

Please do come back with yr inputs on yr test drive. Much appreciated.

i test drove the teana too
felt in love with it

might just cancel my inspira booking and go for the teana....but the 2.4 pricing is steep sad.gif
i am thinking twice on the 2.0

comparing the accord n camry, i prefer the teana.....

Yes Camry will be out in 2012. First u consider a 92K Inspira and then all of a sudden u can jump to a 138K Teana just like that? That shows that u dont have any real planning when it comes to cars.

Yes, indeed the physical gear nob and slot is not gated like the camry, so it does look kinda old school .. hehe!!

But from what i read, cvt is actually a more advanced gear system. CVT = continuously variable transmission = xtra smooth gear changes. If u look at the teana physical gear, it only has :

PRND

The normal lower 3, 2, 1 gears are missing. But you will see there is a +- slot (like in sports mode) where u can up or lower gears on the fly making 3, 2, 1 redundant. CVT technology is actually inherited from the nissan murano if i am not mistaken.

I still have one negative perception (i may be wrong) tho .. hehe ... nissan's body & finishing usually is not as good as honda or toyota tongue.gif

Hi, yes I also heard that kind of thing, but that was real long time ago story, now I can't see any Nissan with bad body finishing, last time I think Nissan was making great engine, super durable, but body kinda light and tend to get rusted easily, it was 80's era problem. Now I can see that newer Nissan body and finishing if not better than Toyota, but I can say it is on par with those rivals!

visited Toyota & Honda last few weeks. Camry & Accord did not give any surprises to me...Just 'Oh! car big.'
Yesterday went to Nissan to see Teana. At 1st, thought of no surprise on this car. But when walk in the showroom, and saw it - WOW! BIG car! As usual, Teana appearance is not that outstanding compare to Camry or Accord. But the interior of it really nice, comfort, and huge! Now...I am thinking of whether to shift my Sylphy order to Teana happy.gif

For that price i would rather go for a BMW 3 Series with much superior technology and specs. Although internal space is limited compared to the Teana.

Yes, the Passat is quite a good car and good looking too, but the interior space is a let down for me, rear can only sit 2 persons only, not so practical for such a car.

you cannot say like that. Maybe initially he never intend to buy any car but the inspira. Then suddenly he saw this car and took it for a drive and loved it so much and wanted to buy it. Nothing wrong what. financial sense. i believe everyone has their way of doing things. Maybe initially he thought of not buying a more expensive car. but now he has found the one he wants. Ok what

The one you see in sunway is passat cc, passat cc in malaysia is for 4 bosses going for lunch only. The passat china launch and coming soon is the passat sedan. which was also sold here last time. but not the new model. And also coming soon passat cc will have 5 seater as well.
