You need to test drive both to feel the difference. My father decided to bught the Accord after comparing it with Camry. Accord is better overall interms of most aspects such as handling, performance, looks etc. Camry just looks to bloated and the latest facelift somehow looks desperately Audi wannabe. In terms of design, one of the most visible design aspects that you could see is the window line of both cars and you can easily differentiate which one is a real gem  . Camry 2.0 also got an old school 4 speed tranny opposed to Accord's 5 speeder.

My personal experience going head to head with my father's Accord and a Camry, from 0-190 km/h Camry don't have a chance at all to even sniff my Accord's tail  . As speed builds the gap is also increasing. Also Camry can't take corners as hard as Accord could. C'mon man, I thing I can say is Toyota now is not like Toyota of yesteryears  . In almost every Toyota cars models (models that UMW brought in) the engine will be less powerful than the Honda cars of respective segments like:
City 125PS : Vios 109PS

Accord 2.0 156PS : Camry 2.0 147PS

Accord 2.4 180PS : Camry 2.4 167PS

Civic 1.8 140 PS : Corolla Altis 1.8 140PS (civic betters in terms of torque by 1nm  )

Jazz 125PS  : Yaris 109 PS
& Etc.... ( i didn't compare the civic hybrid and the prius due to Prius'es bigger engine ( by 500cc), price)

Hopefully people won't come and bash me. I'm not just a Honda fan i'm also Suzuki, Nissan man etc and only god knows how i admire the TOYOTA Supra . I'm just stating the facts. Wake up people! . Wake up.....

Yeah you're right. Accord offres best of both worlds (comfort & performance). That's why Accord has attracted lotsa young people.... including my father

Brother, this is Nissan lar, not Kia or Hyundai lar, this car in China selling price is higher than Camry and Accord, but it can outsell Camry and Accord lar. Please go and search first lar.

You are asking a car company selling more car than Honda worldwide to sell their car with lower price than their rivals in Malaysia with more than 20%. Didn't you find it a bit funny? As for KIA, actually the Forte price is also lower around the world lar in C-segment car, not only in Malaysia.

visited Toyota & Honda last few weeks. Camry & Accord did not give any surprises to me...Just 'Oh! car big.'
Yesterday went to Nissan to see Teana. At 1st, thought of no surprise on this car. But when walk in the showroom, and saw it - WOW! BIG car! As usual, Teana appearance is not that outstanding compare to Camry or Accord. But the interior of it really nice, comfort, and huge! Now...I am thinking of whether to shift my Sylphy order to Teana

my dad booked a 3.5l teana, priced at 248k, quite a bargain I would say. I tried to poison my old man to get the passat but fail. collecting the car this Saturday. will review how it feels once I get to seat in the car. haha don't think I will get to drive it though

Hi there, that day I have tested the Teana 2.0 and 2.5 and I didn't hear anything noise in the cabin or something loose, I think that what you heard that day probably is something that not fix properly, I think that shouldn't be any problem. As for the Accord, the tyre noise is quite obvious when driving through the rough road, so very hard to detect the internal cabin noise such as the dashboard, plastic, or cabling loosen. Right now I'm waiting to see whether to get the Teana 2.0 Lux or 2.5 model. After Driving this Teana, I have no longer interested in the Camry or Accord.

Dude, 2012 is a little bit too long for me to wait, because until now I still not yet see any picture of the new Camry, so will it be nice or conservative look, I have no idea. After Camry, I think there will be new Accord to follow and probably another 2-3 years another new Teana will be launching, so keep waiting will be endless.

I've just sat on my cousin's 2 years old Accord (the latest 2.0 model), driver side door panel having rattling sound non-stop while the car is moving (something loose for sure), speaker board at the back and dashboard having vibrating and rattling sound as well. Honda quality? Totally out of my expectation 

Well, let's command on mine 10 FL Civic then, 5 months old and rattling sound everywhere. I've joined some Civic forum and club and majority of the owners are suffering the same problem. No doubt, Honda's quality is going down this recent years, at least for our region (CKD), no argue with that.
I'm stated that because people are asking about that, are they asking about firing upon Ferrari now?

Today afternoon I went to Honda showroom again to test the Accord with 2 of mine colleagues and later went to Nissan for the Teana again. After driving the Accord, I still find the Accord NVH isn't good for a car at this level, too bad for the Honda. And I purposely test the door for the Accord since quite a few forummer said Accord doors are heavier than the Teana one. After I tried to close and open a few times, I have found Accord doors and Teana doors weight quite similar, not much different, when close the Accord door (front), I found the sound isn't that solid, the Teana, when close the door, you can hear a very solid "thoomp" sound. But the Accord sound is "thuungk", different from the Teana. 2 of my colleagues also found the same result.
