depend on your usage. w7 still new. lots of function still didn't have till now. if u can wait for updates, and not really apps centric, u can buy w7 phones. but if u want more apps, more versatility of personalization, android, as on nexus one.. fluidity of UI IMO both performs well biggrin.gif

which one should i get nokia 5800, SE X10 mini, Nokia c5-03, Samsung galaxy 5, or samsun wave s533.

all which its price range from 550 to 650. which is the best?

QUOTE(wuwah @ Feb 19 2011, 02:42 PM)
galaxy 5 if screen size doesn't matter to u. only let down IMO is the low resolution, and the plasticky build and poor camera.

best camera there is X10 mini. but, it is very mini! sad.gif

maybe u can forget about C5-03 (symbian^1. bit slow.. UI is not really perform) and 5800 (production stop.). wave, well, i can't say anything as IMO, bada OS still need times to grow. and I'm not really suggest to test that platform yet, unless u have money to change often, u can try i guess.
*
Indeed. The X10 mini is real mini.

For me, Samsung is just testing the bada OS in the market. Not many device is being installed with this OS.

Nokia 5800's production is stopped already, but it has been sold 9 million units worldwide as at the November 2009. Nokia should be taking care this large pool of user by providing more software update for it. However, i doubt it is in the range of your budget except for the 2nd hand Nokia 5800.

I guess when SE Xperia Arc is being released, the price should be over your budget.

If you are real serious about getting a good camera phone, N8 seems to be a good choice now.

Just take a look at the Aspire2006 posts in this thread to see how good the N8 picture quality can be.

Android, Windows Mobile and Symbian are the name of the smartphone OS.

Most of the Nokia smartphone is using the Symbian OS. However, Android OS provide better UI and websurfing experience when compared to Symbian.

OS stands for the Operating System.

What's your definition of quality for the photos then? If you want no compromise in camera, then the N8 really is the only choice for now. The SE Android phones are decent in quality, but are no match in comparison, not to mention them being over your budget.

But if you just want a decent, not perfect camera phone, the SE X10 is a good choice. With 8 megapixels and HD video, its actual quality is decent too. Take a look at the camera shots gallery in this section and see if it fits your criteria.

I don't think you can get Nexus One for 1.5k unless you're looking for 2nd hand unit

if you prefer HTC, for 1.5k you can get either Desire AP set or T-Mobile G2 aka Desire Z which is also an AP set

otherwise you can refer to 41LY45, those are good choices as well

1. Brand. Sony Ericsson, HTC, Nokia
2. Budget. RM1000 - RM1100
3. Specs. WIFI, at least 5 megapixel camera, Java supported
4. Type/Size. A good and responsive touch screen as will be used for mobile internet.

I am considering Nokia C7, but read many complaints on the display, auto restarting, unable to install certain software, email configuration problem, etc in the web. It somehow freak me out. Any one is owning this model or perhaps can intro me other options.
