QUOTE(darklight79 @ Jan 19 2011, 02:49 PM) He drills it in, never count the reps and sets. Go by feel, which in turn is the same thing which Terry has always been advocating. Some exercises can go as high as 8 sets or as low as 3 sets, or even 2. The moment you count your sets and reps, you've already trained to fail, your mindset tells yourself to fail at a targeted rep range. One thing though, we never keep our reps below 6, ever. this is sweet advice. thx. i would love to hv a chance to train with u big guyz. i reckon a small guy like me has plenty to learn from u guyz

happy lunar new year to all!!!
my real 1 week break(away from BD, even the LY forum) has been...well...
really wan to go to gym now if possible, but gotta work...
1 thing i learn is i don't bother abt when going to gym is how much i lift n how much the other guyz lift.
as long as i push myself hard enough, i'm happy

basically, most of the stickies would be useful in some way for noobs. we have 1 on the routine, the food etc etc read...
may come across as unfriendly, but the stickies are there for a reason and if you don't help urself, then dun expect to be spoonfeed.

QUOTE(-Dan @ Feb 18 2011, 06:03 PM) Added on February 18, 2011, 6:09 pmSquat form on the smith is a bit like hack squats, in the sense that you create a less acute angle between your hips and torso like with regular squats by placing your feet slightly more forward and leaning back a bit more. Do correct me if I'm mistaken, Darkie/John/any of you guys who squat on the smith. thx for the info. will try it out
