QUOTE(EXkurogane @ Oct 11 2010, 10:51 AM) Yup. My mum using Nokia C5. Last time when she buy the shop seller says AP RM 580, Ori 650. So she buy ori la. WTH, difference RM 70 only. For N8 ori and AP i think difference RM 200 only. Added on October 11, 2010, 10:54 amBTW, out of topic, this phone look damn nice, HTC HD7. But it doesnt have what i want, other than the beauty factor. N8, faster come la... http://www.engadget.com/2010/10/10/htc-hd7...hrome-headed-t/HTC HD7 is Windows Phone 7, yes? Then I head over to GSMarena.com to see the review for the OS: QUOTE Key features:
* Premium mobile OS (high minimum hardware requirements) * Clean, uncluttered interface with distinctive design language * Easy and thumbable user interface * Smooth operation with cool animations and transition effects * A fresh start with no legacy support needed * Backed up and developed by one of the largest software companies in the world * Excellent MS Office mobile implementation * Top-notch social integration * Excellent cloud services integration (SkyDrive, Windows Live, Xbox Live)
Main disadvantages:
* No system-wide file manager * No videocalling * Limited third-party apps * No Bluetooth file transfers * No USB mass storage mode * No memory card support * No multitasking * No copy paste * Too dependent on Zune software for computer file management and syncing * No music player equalisers * No Flash or Silverlight support in the web browser * No sign of free Bing maps Navigation so far * No DivX/XviD video support I don't care about WP7 now.

N8 is high end for me, only that the processor is mid end. Symbian can compete with high ends, Android and iOS if Nokia just change TWO things - UI design and slap on 1Ghz + 512Mb RAM (increase performance).

Thats bcos they are trying to optimize the OS and avoid crashing. U slap in Raw power and 1800mAh battery then how? I wont mind paying 2.5k if the specs same as current N8 with more raw power and better UI

QUOTE(BBXiong @ Oct 11 2010, 12:16 PM) 2.5k? u sure?? maybe just wait(hope) for Symbian^3 to be hacked and UI to be as customizable as android... i mean i would pay 2.5k if 1800mAh battery (to compensate raw power), 1Ghz, 512Mb ram and better UI, and other specs same as current N8. I dont care if it is still symbian OS. Im gonna install new theme once i get my N8, saw some themes even have different looking UI ( stuff like icons, buttons and widgets better design and look better).
