watchub is an awesome seller. got my mini monster from them. had some issues on ebay policies with 1 watch, settled with no questions asked. very friendly too.

Watch winders work for auto watches so if you put your Seiko auto on a winder, technically it will be running as long as the winder is on. Manual/hand winding on the other hand requires, well, hand winding. |

There arguments from both sides on whether a watch winder is necessary. On one hand, if you don't wear your watch for a long period of time, the lubricant may harden and this may affect the movement. On the other, constantly winding it may result in parts being worn out faster.
I have a winder which I never turn on, only use it to store watches. I guess as long as I rotate my watches once in a while it's good enough |
