Yesterday managed to dig out an old seiko kinetic and was thinking of changing the batt/capacitor to get it goign agian. Went to the shop, and they quoted me RM180 blink.gif

Anyone knows if this is the normal price or they were trying to pull a fast one on me?

Not sure how old is ur kinetic but RM180 should be to change the capacitor only right? The price should be around there.
Yeah, the watch around.. er... 6~8 years old kua.. cannot remember. It only cost about RM900+ when i bought it, so fixing it for RM180.. seems abit much and I'm not even sure I'll wear it..

Finally came to my senses and decided to thin the collection. Started with 68 watches, now down to just below 30. Will continue to thin until I have only about 10 left (maybe 12).  tongue.gif

For Seikos, I plan to only keep 5 or 6. That's where the hard part comes in. Which do you keep and which do you let go?  rclxub.gif

What he means is.. if you wear it for a day, then the power reserve will last you for about another day without being worn.

Its in KL like you requested.

When I typed "Central Plaza" in google... the first hit was the building itself, I think the map inside might help if you are driving there.

Depends on the location they might polish it to make it less visible... or.. swap a new one for you.

Did you happen to wear a watch when you went in the shop? If so what watch was it?
*
Huh? So we need to wear an oris to look at a seiko? Then a rolex to look at an oris?

Anyway, i reckon shops with better trained sales people wouldnt behave in that way. Last time I was in watatime lookign at watches.... the salesgirl was very helpful despite me wearing a timex on that day (goign to gym later ma).
