Great photos as always! Although I'm not a fan of dress watches, that looks really nice and for that price, unbeatable. 6R15 movement?

I've always dealt with Katsu-san as well.

Sporty look. But I'm not a big fan of integrated lugs on watches. I love changing straps on my watches (its a sickness) tongue.gif I think almost all Arctura comes with integrated lugs?

Looks like the Seiko Stargate (the nickname being thrown around now) is proving to be a hit. King Wah in SG brought in 20 pieces and it was sold out in 5 hours. My regular AD bought 3 pieces in last Friday, sold out on Saturday.

Online price is about RM860 (273USD). Local prices should be just slightly lower, perhaps RM820.

One thing that surprised me is that the bracelet version comes with solid end links. Quite rare for divers in this price range. rclxms.gif

Here's two more variants, black dial with red hands & crown and a white dial.

Since this is a Seiko thread, I guess you're asking about Seiko. A lot of models below 1K based on what you want. Recently saw this one. I think it looks quite good but it's on a nylon strap. You could easily change to a black leather strap if you want.

That's last year's model Seiko Superior SRP017. Hard to find one nowadays. Price was about RM700 if I'm not mistaken.

A similar looking model would be the BFS below. I sometimes spot it in stores but hardly see the SRP017.

Sorry didn't get u. Which watch worth that much? The SRP017? The SRP series are generally supposed to be better quality than the rest of the entry level series like Seiko5. The SRP017 also used the newer 4Rxx movements which gives slightly longer power reserves.

If you're asking whether the BFS is worth as much as the SRP017 then no. The BFS is cheaper.

RM530 for which watch? But I can recommend Virustar over the other sellers here. Shipping sometimes not the quickest coz I think sometimes he needs to order the watch. But price wise he is the best. Made a point to pay his shop a visit when I was in Penang, very nice guy.

Hai 1st time here. I'm not aware we have Seiko forum here.

I owned a unit of SKX007J. Bought it from chronograph.com. I replaced the hardlex crystal once (done by Thong Sia in their KL office) because I brought it for SCUBA diving and scratched it underwater.

So far so good. I think the accuracy of my 7S26 is better than my 7S36. I'm more than happy to wear it anytime anywhere :-)

Can't go wrong with a classic like the 007. Will be out of production soon as Seiko moves upmarket. 7Sx movements are being phased out in favour of 4Rx movements. That's the recent announcement made by Seiko in Hong Kong recently.

Mind sharing how much did Thong Sia charge for replacing the crystal?
