there's somebody selling it in garage sales for RM4.9K. But if you import yourself, its around RM5.2k. But you get the ROG bag and the ROG mouse.

do you mean G53Jw?

I need some input. As you all might have known, the Macbooks have this very sharp and bright display. Is there any Notebook that matches their color? or at least comes very close to it.

I'm looking for a cheap laptop that costs less than RM2500. The cheaper the better. Don't really care about gaming. I will be using it for office and editing photos.

My brief visit to LYP the other day suggested that Fujitsu's is somewhat brighter than most. I've been told that ASUS also gives great display. Samsung, I don't know cause the models were not turned on.

Thanks!

well, so far iirc the RGBLED display from the SXPS, the lcd on the new XPS line and the Radiance display from HP Envy series can match the macbook screens.

Those are expensive laptops. The cheapest macbook costs only 3.2k but can get those type of displays. So I thought I could get similar type of display at a cheaper price.

Any input on Samsung and Asus?

Don't think Samsung and Asus offers good screens hmm.gif
Usually those with good ones are Dell SXPS, Dell Studios, Envy, Sony and Macs iinm... all of them are quite expensive rclxub.gif

well the xps line is at RM2999, 3k and the specs are better. But you need to double check on that. I can't remember where i saw that review.. anandtech?

Asus screens i know are decent, but nothing to shout about. Not at the Macbook level.

edit: yup, here's the review >>> http://www.anandtech.com/show/3999/dell-xp...-l501x-review/6

might consider that? 3k thumbup.gif

depend on usage.

multithreading is least supported by game's engine but adapted pretty well in mainstream softwares especially the one that related to photos, movies and graphic.

there is no such thing.

its back to your usage either you utilize HTT or not and its basic clock.
