Hi Guys,

I am finding a new notebook, the spec will be:
1) I5 processor
2) mid range graphic card - performance around Nvdia 330M / ATI 5730/5650
3) display >= 14'
4) USB port at least 3
5) HD fully support +HDMI
6) budget : around 3K.

Any recommendation for this. This notebook will be mainly used for multimedia (HD movie)+ gaming (Warcraft/NFS/L4D) + programming (not a heavy programming).
Please advise and thanks for any feedback!

Edited: Extra note, cooling system is important also cause the heat generated from my old notebook is impressive sad.gif

Hi lee_what2004, thx for the comment will search the detail spec for those that you have recommended.
For note 5, it not be a native resolution, as long as it can play back the 1080iHD video without any lag or video-sound not-sync.
(i know most of the recent notebook should already able to do it smile.gif ).

Anyway in term of reliability, which 1 is the best choice?
My own opinion on the brand:
1) lenovo : no idea, none of my friend using this
2) Asus : very good comment among the user
3) Acer: I know that acer is famous with the lower price and better spec but i am the current acer user (core duo 2.6GHz travelmate) and the reliability isn't that good.
4) Dell : Not sure about this but ofter hear people send back for warranty. And i feel like the warranty from DELL is purposely make for this...

if you want something which is below rm2500 with 3 years warranty and come with the best spec,Acer AS4738G-464G50(RM2299) is the only choice.if you think u only need for basic usage,A42DR-VX032V(RM1799) is sufficient.do noted that definately you cant expect it to be same performance as Acer AS4738G-464G50.you can upgrade to 4gb ram for Asus to boost up the performance

no point for you to choose Dell Inspiron 14R(RM2199) seriously
