QUOTE(annbang @ Nov 1 2010, 12:30 PM) no, Cannot just say that ATi is lousier than nVidia like that. Anyways the HD5650 in the 4820tg is among the top mainstream cards. Its better than the GT425m and the GT335m, GT435m that still duno. Still no benchmarks for that card.QUOTE(CypherXX @ Nov 1 2010, 12:35 PM) 1. Asus the A42jv already eol quite a while. The replacement is the Acer 4820TG.2. RM3k 3. Gaming purposes + Working 4. Anything fits I've been looking for Asus A42JV but it seems to be di-commissioned Thanks. |

QUOTE(icycokes @ Nov 2 2010, 03:12 PM) hopefully below 3k Bro, perhaps you can take a look at Lenovo Z360 (i5-460m+ G310M), U460 (14 inch but very slim and light, ignore this if not interested guess i will have the asus in the end. the only battle is between Acer 3820TG and Asus U35JC. i think U35JC suits me better with its battery life. any other brands? 4820 is 14"? dont want anything larger than 13. 3820TG seems nice but i dont need such powelful laptop. the 3820TG is powered by i7 in spore. and abit over budget also.. compaq HP lenovo toshiba those not coming out with small laptops? THANKS ALL for recommendation. Asus U35Jc is a rather good pick except for the poor built which is not very convincing No laptops from Toshiba offers battery life + performance at the moment... The GPU in the U460 is not really meant for gaming...Perhaps you should consider Acer's 3820(S'pore), 4820TG instead |
