^Lenovo LH520..
No freeDOS...
Dell Inspiron 13R if want 13''
else Acer 4820TG, i5 460M + ATi HD5650/GMA HD@RM2599....
Any specific usage?
If looking for something light, the Z360 works well...
No recovery disk anymore...
Need to burn your own..
You need to compare each model, not just by brand...
Inspiron 13R with HD5470...
Fujitsu LH520, AMD P320 + ATi HD5430, freeDos@RM1499...
Other choice is Lenovo Z360, but U35Jc got bigger battery capacity, hence last longer...
There is 3820TG with i5 460M, the i7 model is quite rare...
Basically is around Asus U35Jc if need lightweight and long battery life without much graphical power...
There's Lenovo Z360...
Don't get U460 if you want for gaming, its GPU is weak for current games...
Better take Acer 4820TG, i5 460M + ATi HD5650/GMA HD@RM2599
As above, Acer 4820TG..

what is the second/third to Acer 4820TG, which have the similar spec and price slightly cheaper? i'm looking for anything other than Acer brand.

Nothing.
Next choice is Lenovo Y460, i5 460M + nVidia GT425M, but higher price RM 2999...
or find leftover stock Asus A42Jv, i5 450M + nVidia GT335M, should be under RM2.5K if could find...
or Dell Inspiron 14R, i5 460M + ATi HD550v@RM2599
HD550v is HD4650, and you don't get thin profile and long battery life like Acer 4820TG....

The ATI 550v can run Dx 10.1 only, and the ATI 5650 can run Dx11, what is the diff? if play dota and some other chinese online game ATI550v can run? wat game and programme need Dx11? so hard to decide which one i shud buy. cry.gif
