After 2weeks from 1st interview in this company, I being told to go for lunch session at the company on this wednesday, but I never heard before lunch session? Is it an interview as well? What should I expect?

What questions should I ask? Almost all the questions list in this thread I had asked in previous interview. eg. working environment, culture, company profile, organisation, core technology, the most profit division and etc

thanks

I guess you have no choice since your academic background doesn't really fit the job description.

Well, if it's within the same department, you may have a try on that.

But if it's not, I guess it may be a little difficult in doing so.

good for u for passing thru the interview. do hope, but remember it's not confirmed. when can start work is a normal question, but can be also a very clear indicator if the interviewer ask in a very positive way. very eager. then u know la.

else, just pray pray and play play!

That question is an ordinary question and some put that in the application form.

Hi everyone,

I'll be going for an interview with Ericsson next Monday. They are recruiting Trainer (3G if I remember correctly). This would be my 2nd formal interview. The previous one was a Taiwan-based game development company, which the interview was conducted in his native-Mandarin and my broken-Mandarin. It was sort of a chatting rather than a serious interview. My uncle sent in my resume for me because he used to work there. The interviewers will mostly ask for a short presentation.

Currently, I am taking MCSE under government grant and would like to finish it first and it still has around 1 and a half month which I had stated in my resume. If the interviewer(s) do not ask, is it necessary for me to speak it out? When they ask for my weaknesses, I've been advised to be honestly but try to turn my weaknesses into something that can helps motivated me. I've searched the information/background/services offered of the company. Now, I'm worrying about the questions about myself and stuffs like that such as, how do you think you'll fit in the position. I have no prior experience in giving training.

Anyway, I planned to wear pantsuit and blouse for interview but still can't figure out what should I bring. A simple briefcase (looks similar to those typical, black notebook bag), or just a handbag and my documents in a plastic folder or just a brown envelope?

Thanks

just be calm. dont fret or anticipate too much what they will ask. yes, it's good to analyse ur future employer, but do not try to think what they'll ask. we wont know. as long as we know sth, then should be ok. i assume if u know urself also la. at least we will be able to answer WHEN being asked NOT NOW. we wont know until being asked.

anyway, i believe the interviewer would want u to be able to answer their questions. do ask them to clarify/rephrase the question. diff perspective, u may be able to understand and answer. no sweat.

clothing. hmm. i guess u r a gal then. if u ask me what to wear, then i'll be able to help you to decide on da spot! ;p haha. i would want u to don those cute uniform or like sailormoon, and no need casing or handbag, just some whips. opps. did i just say that? ;p

i would prefer plastic folder/file rather than brown bag. personal preference.

cheers and gluck! may the force be with u!

Yeah, my uncle to talked to me during the dinner about the interview.. something like preview lah but I'm not expecting him to tell me what kind of questions they're going to ask. I just told him, I'll answer when ask. xD

No, I'll definitely would not wear like that. laugh.gif But anyway, I've decided to don a white blouse with simple pink vertical pattern (not to "flower-ry") and a black pantsuit and the shoe.. not sure what that is called, a cover-toe "shoe".. Although I had read from some source that it is better to wear those so-called professional colour (dark tone) like black, grey, etc. but I feel like I'm too "dark" if I wear so. About the bag, I've finally found my black leather briefcase-like bag after digging for it in my wardrobe! rclxms.gif

Can you tell me what are those questions that interviewees should ask?
1) When can I expect the outcome of the interview?
other that 'expect', any other better word to replace it?
2) Can you tell me more about the job?
3) What kind of training that will be provided if I'm selected for the job or what kind of trainings that I can expect from the company?
I think the first should sound better and more polite, what do you think?
4) Anything else?

Thanks again.

do you think its better not to write our previous job salary on the resume and don't even have to answer them if asked? how will you response?

I feel once we mention our previous job salary , we will have disadvantage to get the expected salary.

Some application forms have that section on it. I'm also wondering this too.

according to what i have read previously in my research, the mat salleh mentioned that its better not to tell them that because it has nothing to do with your current job application but .. you all know lah.. malaysian bosses and even overseas graduate just have to ask you .. very pak kua! no respect for the person he interview
