Finally got my i4...getting out from there...go home play now...

Guys, what time does the Maxis @ The Garden, Mid Valley open?
I'm planning to get the 32GB iPhone 4 @ iValue Plan 1 for 24 months there (The Gardens), tomorrow (Sun, 26 Sept) cause I was late to book my seat for today's event. What time should I arrive there in order not to wait a long queue as I'll be busy tomorrow? (Trying to find time). Thanks in advance.

My update for 25th (sat) 2-6pm slot.

1:05pm arrived and queue, current running number ~328x. I estimate about 60+ ppl in front of me.
1:30-1:45pm the queue grows double behind me, and then triple.
2:05pm start getting number, I got 364x The emcee keep announce ask people to go back/shopping and come back later, and Maxis will send hourly sms. So I go for late lunch at 3pm.

Halfway through, I recall about MOC members can get special queue from 2xxx onwards. So I call 123 to enquire my status, and I'm still it

4:00pm I go in front the queue number, discuss and get a new queue number 200x Current queue is 3310-3340 range

4:10pm get called to Counter 13. The lady is pretty and cute, but snobbish. Well, being pretty is one thing, but being CS is another thing. Please be professional, and it takes 20 min+ for her to do a simple request with no questions asked. Initial also wrongly charge my CC with 12-mth EPP instead of 24-mth

4:30pm+ Got my iPhone about 3.5 hours of arriving Proceed to Counter 53 range to get a new SIM instead of cutting it.

5:00pm shopping outside for front-shield. The numbers start moving very fast, 34xx-35xx

5:30pm It's already 36xx and pass my initial 364x number It is moving SO FAST .... as compared to Fri. But MOC queue so far only reach #2011. Not many ppl utilizing MOC-queue today.

After that I left already for dinner outside MV.

11:55pm reach home

All in all, I receive 3 sms reminder from Maxis at 3:30pm, 4:30pm and 5:30pm.

Finally I get mine. Que from 6pm to 11pm.

Ahahaha come to buy apple product and they serve apples. Kinda fitting but then sekali kena apple MASAM while you were queueing.

Sour apple taste while waiting hours for an apple product. Someone somewhere has a sense of humor

Anyone here going to buy at the garden tmr?

will the mall be accessible as early as 7-8am?

was quite good....went today about 1015am. got my ticket by 11.00am. lady announced to go home, they will sms.

went home and got a few sms from maxis. i remmeber the 2nd last sms was, 'pls come now to collect ur ophone, the number is xxxx.'

anyways, i reached late, was like 30 numbers ahead of me. but one nice guy took me stright to a counter and got it done. many thanks for that. the queue to get my screen protector was longer than to get the phone.

Just got back ..from Gardens
I had ticket for the 2-6PM bit i had a Wedding dinner to attend.
Rushed all the way back and arrived at 11:30pm ..
They were serving 42XX.

There is no queuing up , and I manage to settle my plan, sign the docs, pay up, cut my sim,, activate the iphone in 20-30minutes.

Lucky thing i made it in time ; the CS was setting up my iphone when they announced they have processed the last customer at around 12+ am

@zer016: I'll try to go to Maxis @ The Gardens later. Not sure what time to go there though. What time are you going? I'm afraid if I go @ 8 am, the mall isn't opened yet.

i think i go at 9 something.. the mall open at 10?
