Does one have to queue long to collect the queue no now? My slot is 6-10.

Did any of you also do trade-in for your iPhone 3GS while there?

For now is just collecting your number, earlier number get served earlier. No need to line up so long like first launch.

no indication.. one of the guys manning the counters told me they have sufficient stocks becuz only one color.. if got 2 color than might have problem.

went to gardens at 2.40 just now. queued for abt 20 mins, got my number 382x. queue serving 3356. left gardens after look look see see a while. got sms update at 4.30 serving 3470. quite slow. i think hopefully tonite 8-9pm can get. so now just chill, play, sleep, eat dinner then go back to gardens later tonite.

average waiting time sud be 5-6 hour. worst for night time slot.

i got reserved my iphone 4 at MEP yesterday, their are very limited stock 10 units IP4, 5 for 16GB and 5 for 32GB. It will be arriving on next monday, hopefully i will get it from them on monday.

PS : they only reserve iphone for contract base buyer.

enjoying my new iphone now. For anyone who in 6pm slot onwards,please come early as que lane will be long..better que first then get the ticket then do whatever you want..roughly there will be 300-400 people still stuck infront of you.

this is few info to share with everyone:

- after midnight, some banks' 0% Interest EPP option is closed (eg CIMB & Citibank based on yesterday's situation). but not to worry cos they can still help you swipe (as whole payment first) and you need to come back (check where can you come back, get their phone number) to change back to EPP

- you need to tell them if you wanna cut your current sim to microsim OR get a new microsim (you gotta decide, in case you havent backup your contacts, etc). but they dont do contacts backup for you (at least not last night, it was crazy!)

- dont forget to inspect the phone before you leave

- checked with the Trade-In guys, they accept quite a number of phone. for 3GS 16GB, if you have the box+charger with you, it would be +-RM 929, otherwise it'll be RM 879 (depends on the condition of your phone). this is only for this launch event, not available thereafter

- have lots lots of patience!

well basically thats what i could sum up from what ive been. btw try make friends maybe someone might decide to leave early, you might get a chance for an earlier number! (i had! but i was lucky cos i didnt talk around much )

oh yes.. it was a good for me coz i reached at 7.50am, and i was about the 30th person..

my process of getting an iphone4 is ok... it took me about 30 mins to 45 mins..

i didnt meant to hog but its their fault..

1) ask me go register.. but i reach the registration counter, she's waiting there.. i keep ask her "whats wrong" , she say "nothing".. but she's just not processing my data.. keep on looking left.. looking right.. as if waiting for the personel next to her teach her how to key in data..

2) after register, they ask me to wait for no reason there.. waiting at the so called collection queue.. keep on tell me next its our turn.. but keep on letting behind me pass on first.. grrrr.. till a nice guy in purple shirt says.. you can go first, your number is in front of me..

3) good but what? when i reach collection counter.. this lady say.. hold on ah.. i out of stock.. need to go inside collect.. dee dee dum dum.. slowly verifying my details.. so and so ( guess what? they didnt check my principal name and didnt ask my principal holder to sign!)

4) next.. microsim.. so.. i opted to cut my sim.. but u know what? after they cut, my SIM wont work.. and so, they gave me new microsim.. here i waited for almost 15 mins..

5) right.. accessories place.. i'm here at 11am.. but the fella says.. sorry we just reached home at 6am this morning, wait for 15 mins please, we are opening now already..

6) 11.30am, finally i gotten a pink colour case + anti finger print screen protector.. hehe..

Went at 5.15 pm for 6-10 slot. They look better organized. Number was 40xx. At 6 they were dealing with 375x. Told me to come back in 4 hours time.
