Funny. Why Maxis didn't request for confirmation ID before providing queue number? Or at least someone guarding the entrance and screen through those who only have confirmation email to enter?

yes, I can confim this. Plus, there are many maxis reps walking around.

They should have put up a big sign saying you need a confirmation ID, to ease the process.

future attendees for the launch.. there are 60 counters open and theyll let 60 ppl in at a tim to buy iphones..so dont worry about getting packed like sardines just wait n take a seat till ur num is on the board demo sets aplenty you can play ard as well

The long queue is due to ppl waiting to get number. I think the reason why it is so long so partly because many ppl without the confirmation ID are there to try their luck also.

After you got your queue number, you can just walk around and relax, chit-chat until your number is up.

In this case, I'm going to reach before 2pm tmrw. Get early number!

Btw, where is exactly the ballroom! All I know is that it is above the GSC/Redbox, is that true?

I wasn't allow to go out when i was there. If i do, I hard to queue up again even tho i got the ticket number. I think you better ask the security guard or the lady at the ticket machine.

The location isn't great cos the outside area is small and tight - worst is NO AIR CON since air-con at malls are centralized.

But from morning should be better but i bet there will be a queue so go early so you can get out early!

crazy... i doubt myself to have this patience tmrw afternoon.
this 12am-4am should be the batch with least ppl among all batches, yet it can be this horrible. i can't imagine the situation on fri and sat

Having read all of ur updates ( thank u!!) I decided to withdraw my collection tomorrow morning session.

morning), digi iPhone respond doesn't 'sound' as hot as maxis, and why so many ppl rushing to these few days event knowing d long waiting hours.

I will try my collection this Sunday or Monday thru maxis dealers (mep), as stated in their website..
Go for a movie or karaoke session first...
