care to know which carrefour u got it from

about the lcd that ps3 cant use, i think i got 1. HP LP2465. coz i using it now. only show blank screen even it said the dvi port is active.

it is HDCP?

u sure ur setting is correct? quite sure this 24" is good for ps3...

I bought it at Carrefour Cheras (Peel Road), RM19.90. I saw it at Mid Valley carrefour also. (still in stock )


I got this HDMI to DVI converter at carrefour also, also "carrefour" brand



Guess what...........it is only RM3........yes only RM3........i strait grab 5 pcs haha (still in stock as i seen last week)

I also get optical cable "carrefour" brand also, a lot of ppl dun believe RM0.90 per pcs, i self grab 10 pcs (this 1 no stock already)

No hdcp = no picture for ps3.

using av>dvi converter box instead...
bit expensive la...but tat hp is 2006 model...bo bian...

u mean tv tuner? i got one of those., but havent try. kinda waste when i know my lcd can't be use for ps3

so by using av as the output, u should be fine...i guess?

well will give it a try, in case it still dun work, at least it can be use for pc, since my current adapter only apply to PS3

is ur adapter dvi port "male" (with pins)

you can't download anything from the internet & use it on your ps3. the only thing that works are games & dlc from ps store.

save games are tied to psn id.. thats y it says corrupt...

and some are region lock ... need to use the correct region & version

bought a dvd few says ago,when i insert the cd and try to play it,
the error "can't read the cd,different region"..
i thought ps3 is region free?

Region free for games only. Movies are region locked.

DVDs and Blu Rays use different regions.

so we(asian PS3s) can play American imported Blu Rays,which are Region A.
but we cant play american imported DVDs,which are region 1 (when we're region 3)

so if you buy a Blu Ray combo pack that comes with 1)blu ray movie 2)dvd movie 3)digital copy
you cant use the dvd on the ps3
