Err.. i have a question which may result in several

I know R1 DLC works for R3.. but does R3 work for R1?

i also need a hdmi-dvi converter, but i duno why when i ask the guy at sony centre in mid valley, they said cannot, but use hdmi.... are they noob or just not encouraging us to get the converter...cause i using a samsung monitor without hdmi or audio ports...

Either they have no knowledge about hardware or they just want to screw with you,I'm sure ur monitor has a DVI output so just get urself a DVI-HDMI cable,as for audio,you can get an audio splitter.

sry... dude... please forgive me stupidity... is the bold is SG set? but i think bold serial is exactly same wiv the MY set oh

PLUS....resell value is higher if still got warranty..let's say u want to sell it after few months


afaik all MY unit (including DS, PS move etc) got the yellow sticker at the box...so just make sure it's a sealed unit and got the yellow sticker..we can just check the authentication by sms to sony..all info already included at the sticker

Guys,just wanna know did Slim PS3 can do Rebuilt Database like Phat or not??tried the method same with Phat where pushing the power button until beep twice but nothing happen.....the console just restarting like usual.

1. turn off ps3 ko
2. hold the power button down, the system will turn on and turn off once again
3. once the system has been shutdown, re-press you finger until you hear 2 consecutive beeps
4. when you hear the 2 beeps take finger off power button.
5. you will be promted to plug in your controller via usb and then hit the PS button
6. the Recovery menu will pop up

i bought 160gb m'sia (new & sealed set) last month but no yellow sticker pun?

The yellow sticker contain a code no., n by sms the code no. to Sony, there will reply u whether the ps3 is genuine MY set or not.

Are u able to register ur ps3 online at Sony My website, if can then should be no problem.

The PS3 warranty register at Playstation network asia site la, not Sony My. I juz bought register mine yesterday.
But if malaysia set u must malaysia page only can search out the serial and model number if not mistaken.
Cuz i use my old PSN account which accidently put singapore and it keep come out error with the serial number key in.
At last, create new PSN id
