by right your ps3 can play online as long as the firmware is at the latest, but to be safe, confirmed with the seller did they use the ps3 for jailbreak purpose before, if yes, then you might be at risk of being banned when you go online.

weirdly im on 1mbps the line is shit and all but i managed to dl 6gb in 12 hours using ps3 (thought it will take days)

last time i manage to dload 4.3gb in less than 6 hrs using 1mb too.

downloading via PSN is faster compared to PC.. that's the fact!

why in the world you said you screwed.

it doesnt matter how long it takes to download a psn games to your ps3 as long as it is on with internet connection.

let say you buy 5 psn games from terion.use the acc terion gave you to activate the download and use background download function for all 5 games.you can sign off the acc after that and use you main acc to play games.

but if playing online gem....the download thing will auto pause

better play gem that are not requiring to online play

such as FFXIII, POP, Dead Space....

with my speed,sometimes5-6kbps.
i can say i'm screwed.
the fastest are 30kbps though.

Another q,If i connected my headphones into a female y-cable(that av to 3.5mm?) and changed my audio setting by using av cable,i will get a sound right?

after play, b4 we eject disc, should we reset the ps3 to go back its main xmb menu b4 eject disc??

You should quit game before eject game disc. It might corrupt your save files if game in saving process while eject it.

so after save game, i can press eject? without need to reset the ps3 to main menu?

better if you quit first,then eject it,
better safe than sorry.

p/s-i always eject from xmb.press triangle and pick eject disc.

If ur "reset" mean reboot the console, then no need to do that, that's for PS2. Proper way is press n hold the "PS" button on ur controller, choose "Quit Game", after the game exit to XMB (main menu), then only u eject the disc.
