so far only EA games now come with online pass, which needed to play online. If its aldy used, then u can purchase at respective psn store to buy that online pass.

the code however can only be use once, tied to one psn account only.

you can still play games offline.

anyway ps3 games are not like pc games where it requires activation before playing.

Thx for the reply, which means I can play MGS online without ever worrying about the pass being unavailable for online gameplay if I were to create 2 PSN ID?

i also need a hdmi-dvi converter, but i duno why when i ask the guy at sony centre in mid valley, they said cannot, but use hdmi.... are they noob or just not encouraging us to get the converter...cause i using a samsung monitor without hdmi or audio ports...

Either they have no knowledge about hardware or they just want to screw with you,I'm sure ur monitor has a DVI output so just get urself a DVI-HDMI cable,as for audio, you can get an audio splitter.

where exactly do you want to plug in your headset with built in mic using Y-splitter and use it as what.

for sound or voice chat

to do both you need to find a Y-splitter for your headset to connect via usb for voice chat and av multi for sound.

happy googling for the Y-splitter rclxms.gif

So complicated rclxub.gif better I just get myself a BT headset with in-built mic.

remember that the Bluetooth audio signal for PS3 only carries voice chat... so no game/movie audio output (only thru hdmi, optical and multi-av)

*
Meaning if my PC monitor does not have in-built speaker I cant hear the audio in-game??Plz help,I'm gonna order a BT headset for audio since I could not find any Y-Splitter at my place.

P.S.Any links where to buy Y-Splitter in lowyat?

well if ur monitor don't have built-in speaker, you can output sounds either thru optical/multi-av cable. BT headset is only for voice chat only.

doh.gif Lucky I ask bout this matter or I will be wasting a big sum of cash.Ok,lets say if I get a monitor with in-built speakers like those Samsung brands, all I have to do is plug in the HDMI cable and I will be able to enjoy surround sound?
