you can always go to xmb system shutdown and there will be option to auto off ur ps3 after all download completed.choose the last pending download and off ur TV.

So R4 dlc won't work on a R1 copy of the game?

Hey guys if I buy a dlc from the black ops r4 prestige edition will it work with my r1 version of black ops? i know you have to make an AU/nz account to redeem it though. but is compatible with my r1 copy?
*
dlc for EU and NA games are not compatible.R4 are with EU region of games.

so the answer is NO.

hi all,

i have a samsung ex2220 monitor without audio port or hdmi port...i m planning to use hdmi to dvi converter for the display...but i heard that ps3 doesnt have an audio port too...so how am I suppose to connect my sonicgear speakers since i can neither connect to the ps3 nor my monitor...thanks
*
use hdmi dvi for video and optical cable if your sonic gear support it or use the composite cable came with your ps3 for audio(red and white)

set ps3 sound setting to use the optical or av multi

@afeeq.
why in the world you said you screwed.

it doesnt matter how long it takes to download a psn games to your ps3 as long as it is on with internet connection.

let say you buy 5 psn games from terion.use the acc terion gave you to activate the download and use background download function for all 5 games.you can sign off the acc after that and use you main acc to play games.

*

where exactly do you want to plug in your headset with built in mic using Y-splitter and use it as what.

for sound or voice chat

to do both you need to find a Y-splitter for your headset to connect via usb for voice chat and av multi for sound.

happy googling for the Y-splitter rclxms.gif

Guys I am wondering if any of you know what my problem is.

~ My PS3 Key tone sometimes loud sometimes low when I do choosing options on XMB menu.

My connection is > PS3 HDMI > HDMI TV > Audio Output > Speaker

I am wondering the reason is it because the HDMI Cable? or The TV sound output that produce that unstable key tone?

I appreciate your help.
*
with that setting you actually have 2 sound setting to adjust.1 is your tv and 1 is your speaker.your speaker loudness depend on your tv loudness.
you can check by listening to tv sound only to determent the cause if it hdmi fault.you also check your tv sound output setting.some tv have fixed or variable sound output.from there did you use any Y-splitter from your tv audio out to your speaker.

i dunno.. dats why i'm asking..
is this a proxy download for PS3 or what?
i swear i read it somewhere here..
*
if you google around, that thing you do actually for the new modded homebrew cfw for ps3.the new modded cfw actually installed a pkg installer inside ps3 so can install the pkg file you dled from that website.

so and so it just a waste of time since we can DL things from psstore normally.

move along. whistling.gif

audio in and out is not rocket science to figure out

audio in is your speaker
audio out is your sound source(from where the sound come from)

if you have multiple sound source and 1 sound system with only 1 audio in,you need to find a switch or y-splitter that enable multiple sound source to connect to that 1 audio in.

fyi if want a 5.1 speaker for ps3 better buy 1 that have optical input so can get pure sound directly from ps3 using optical cable.

no need to buy y-splitter,use pc sound card to emulate the sound or anything else.

latest find out today..maybe it's a bit srow poke for some Otai but i hope it will help some noobs like me

1. i'm using Dell monitor with HDMI input..it have audio IN & OUT
2. i plug my Dell sound bar at the OUT port
3. i connect my PS3 using HDMI cable..it have audio & video
4. i connect my PC using DVI cable..but no audio since my speaker connect to the monitor
5. than i use and 3.5 audio cable (male to male), then i plug into OUT port at the monitor and audio OUT at my built-in sound card..so now my PC got an audio and of coz video

this setup cost me extra RM5-10 by getting the 3.5mm male to male cable..now i my PC & PS3 got AV video to swap / plug anything..i just shift the video display at the monitorĀ  thumbup.gif
*
aku fening dan x paham apa yg ko tulis rclxub.gif

1. i'm using Dell monitor with HDMI input..it have audio IN & OUT
2. i plug my Dell sound bar at the OUT port (from where to where.normal solution is from monitor audio out to speaker audio in)
3. i connect my PS3 using HDMI cable..it have audio & video(of course you have sound if you connect as above)
4. i connect my PC using DVI cable..but no audio since my speaker connect to the monitor(normal solution is from pc sound card audio out to speaker audio in if the speaker has extra audio in port or from pc sound card audio out to monitor audio in since you already use monitor audio out to speaker audio in)

in the end ppl just need to know how many audio in and out port from speaker, monitor,tv set or whatever.

they also need to know what type of cable available to make such connection.

btw ps3 web browser doesn't support all flash player available on the net like normal pc,handphone or such web browser would normally do.

also ps3 web browser has the lowest cache capacity of all.

what sarjan want to tell you is to connect your pc sound card audio out to monitor audio in.so you dont need av switch if you connect ps3 directly to monitor using hdmi cable which you already has video and audio coming from monitor with it.

from monitor audio out connect to speaker audio in since you already have both sound from the ps3 and pc coming out from monitor.

icon_rolleyes.gif

what shah suggest to you pretty much best solution since av switch can be use for extra audio source if you want to connect to your speaker

Yes,2nd picture is my speakers + base.1 pair is for my 2 speakers and the other pair is to connect the base to my gaming rig.
*
you can either do what ben said or use av switcher like shah said.

since you already connect your gaming rig to speaker using rca cable, might as well buy av switcher and use ps3 composite cable for it.

ps3 to monitor use hdmi
ps3 and gaming rig to av switcher use rca/composite.

set your ps3 sound setting to av.

btw auxilary cable is the 1 sarjan hassan post.3.5mm jack male to male cable
