How to Enable Carrier Bundle Support in iTunes in Windows.

Step 1: Quit iTunes

Step 2: Press Windows Key + R to open the run dialog. Enter in cmd then click OK

Step 3: Enter the following command into the Command Prompt window.

"C:Program FilesiTunesiTunes.exe" /setPrefInt carrier-testing 1

Step 4: Connect your iPhone and click to launch iTunes from your Start Menu.

Step 5: Select your iPhone from the list of devices on the left then hold down the Shift key and click the Check for Updates button.

Step 6: Now you can now select your .ipcc file as it is not greyed out

defaults write com.apple.iTunes carrier-testing -bool TRUE

Step 5: Select your iPhone from the list of devices on the left then hold down the Option key and click theCheck for Updates button.

Step 6: Now you can now select your .ipcc file as it is not greyed out

does any1 have for maxis? the old technique doesnt seem to work for ios4.

Added on December 22, 2010, 6:49 pmIf you are using the iTune 9 or 10, it will not show "Check for update" but will show "Update". Remember to press Shift and click "Update" then choose ipcc file. If you can't see the ipcc files, simply click on the file extension selection cause for mine the default is ipsw so I need to choose ipcc to see the one that you have downloaded earlier.

Added on December 22, 2010, 6:52 pmThe bird logo as far as I know is an additional mod that you need to do yourself. If not mistaken there is a guide here in this forum on how to get the bird logo. It doesn't come with the carrier update 9.1

Maybe your 3G line is having some problem there? Did you try to Reset Network under Settings -> General -> Reset -> Reset Network Settings?

Already did few hour after install carrier update.

Just want to ask,did u always let ur 3G on or off it when not needed? I always let it on to test for now

Since mine is using the CELCOM P148 with unlimited 3Gx so I always keep it on

Same with me dude. I let it on all the time, but after a few hours, it lost. How about ur email?manually fetch and push or u set it timely.

I afraid when no data used, it will turn off by itself.

Email I set to push and also by every 15 mins. I set both. For the 3G, to save battery, I use one app from Cydia that will automatically switch off my 3G when I lock the phone or when using WIFI, and it will turn automatically to 3G when I unlock my phone.
