hi all.. Does maxis centre do sim-cutting?

Dear all friendly friend, can I know Gardens or KLCC chances higher? My bf said go to KLCC first if cannot then only rush back to gardens. Want to confirm KLCC got stock or not?

My friend went to Maxis Pavillion and they cut the sim card citing no more micro sim stock. Your mileage may vary.

i was told by maxis klcc staff that they only sell 100 units per day. the garden only 30 units perday. but still u need to que up early before the centre open. even before the centre is open, people already que. 1st come serve.

Gallardo, I also was one of the those who wrote down their name last Sunday.
Went there this evening to ask the status and a few other things.

They have just started processing the list from Sunday this morning. I asked them, why those in the list were not given a call if there is stock available since every morning ppl are walking out of Gardens with the phones. That guy could not answer me. Then I asked him to check if my name is in the list. He went inside and came out and told me that they can't tell me this info at the moment. Hmmm, throw away already?

He said Maxis will be calling those in the list within this week. I will take that with a grain of salt....

He also said that only 30 units are available each day, I forgot to ask him 16GB got or not??

What I heard from him, the micro-sim conversion is free of charge.

yeah... i'm 4th... :-)

Anyways.. Maxis is a big BS. Always telling customer no stock when in the store room got more stock than you can imagine!
Just trying to give the illusion that this thing is a hot cake... but in the end the customers treated like crap.
This morning say only 20 people can get.. but one person get get 2 or 3 also NO PROBLEM. (?!?).. doesn't make sense...

Good luck for those who are still trying.. I'd say the best bet is go Gardens Maxis and be the first 10 (to be safe) and line up in the morning.
Screw the "NO STOCK"... no such thing as "no stock"... so fed up of hearing this. Glad I got the phones I wanted so now I don't have to bother anymore.

I just change my hotlink sim today at the gardens. Yes they will charge you RM 25 to change to micro sim as a prepaid user. And they don't give any adapter they just give you the sim. All they need is your IC and phone number than they will give you the micro sim

Can we get the phone without any prepaid packs? Just walk in and pay for the phones?

you actually dont have to change the sim card to micro sim, they can cut for you for free. i'm a hotlink user, maxis klcc staff cut for me for free.

Most of them are lying of the same 'no stock', you have to create a scene. My friend went early in the morning, they told him no stock. He got dissatisfied and shouted at the staff, then the staff got him not just a unit but two on that day.
