Now I am freakin' pissed off at Maxis Gardens! Queued there on Sunday since 9 something and they stopped the queue at 11 am, just 4 ppl infront of me. They asked to leave our numbers and promised we will be the first priority for the first batch of re-stocks.

Now I find out all kinds of walk-in customers are getting the phones. Sigh, should have predicted this when they using that cheap A4 paper to take down our contacts. Probably sitting in a waste paper basket somewhere.

Gonna try my luck again this Sunday.

Gallardo, I also was one of the those who wrote down their name last Sunday.
Went there this evening to ask the status and a few other things.

They have just started processing the list from Sunday this morning. I asked them, why those in the list were not given a call if there is stock available since every morning ppl are walking out of Gardens with the phones. That guy could not answer me. Then I asked him to check if my name is in the list. He went inside and came out and told me that they can't tell me this info at the moment. Hmmm, throw away already?

He said Maxis will be calling those in the list within this week. I will take that with a grain of salt....

He also said that only 30 units are available each day, I forgot to ask him 16GB got or not??

What I heard from him, the micro-sim conversion is free of charge.

For those who put their names down on Sunday 26th Sept, your Iphone should be ready and waiting for you in Maxis Gardens!

I got a SMS yesterday almost midnight, asking me to show the SMS to the counter to redeem my Iphone. Went there 10.30, surprised that there was no queue, no waiting, went to counter, collected phone, changed SIM card and out of Gardens by lunch.

I heard some walk-in customers asking about the Iphone, the Maxis staff told them out of stock, they won't even take registration till 18th of October.
