Try reboot the phone. If doesn't help, then you have to try perform the factory settings reset. But make sure you perform the data backup first. Good luck blush.gif

Hi to the desire veteran,

I m thinking of getting new SIS Desire, but not too sure which shop can provide those services like getting it 'rooted' and all the mms,SMS and etc setting. Yup,I m totally noob and don't wish to get stuck after I goes back to east coast.
Also, new batch just came in at Low Yat and they mentioned it's preinstalled w Froyo..

Thanks.

why bother getting a sis set when your going to root it,
rooting will void your warranty and
the only difference between a sis set and ap set is the warranty

Rooting will not void your warranty, you can unroot it to stock ROM.

QUOTE
Rooting your Desire won't void your warranty (you must have faith about the warranty though) since it's not NexusOne that will leave a trace (an unclasped lock) even if you have unrooted back.

that is after you unroot it back,
but the fact remains that rooting does void warranty
also, if you don't even know how to root,
how are you going to un root smile.gif
but all I wanted to say is that if you're going to root your phone,
why not go for ap set and save that few hundred bucks

Anyone here using HAVS 2.6.32 for Sense Roms??
i am using Froyo Kernel V5f 1113Mhz max

anyone tried Froyo Kernel V5f 1113Mhz max No Audiomod version??? or
Froyo Kernel V5f_HAVS@925mV min, Froyo Kernel V5f_HAVS@875mV min or Froyo Kernel V5f 1190Mhz max?

if yes, do let me know the different, i do feel that the audiomod makes my sound "broken"

So anyone could answer my question?

for me - i've bought an SIS set and never plan to root it.

just wanna use like normal until the memory limitation came and bite me ...

had no choice as i dowan IP4 - so i rooted the phone successfully with the sifu advice here ...

i am happy now where i am and hopefully i don't have to make any warranty claim ...

however, if i know i wanted to root the phone also, most probably i would still get SIS set ...

maybe because i have the believe that the first 1 month is crucial .. if the phone has problems, quickly go back ..

if not - then most probably it would be okay all the way ... but that's just me.

Yea dude, you got the point too.

But i think rooting is very easy now since they roll out a method which can root your phone by simply 'a click'. Hehe.

And unroot also easy, just download the stock RUU, connect the phone to PC, run the RUU. That's all wink.gif

So i think it's worth if you afford to pay a little more to get another year warranty. Cheer thumbup.gif

if you like ur phone ui to be like iphone, then MiUI is the best rom for you. it have all the iphone user interface features and structure with extra goodies and functions. but for me i'm prefer sense based rom such as aurax because i need those contact integration features in sense widget.
