My 2 cents. You can try with many-teams scouts, decap their points and dance around. Tech to T2 asap.

T1 IG guards with commissars (reinforce max) can kill anything. Including buildings, with melee mode. Beware of this.

Hunt is right, you gotta try hurting IG early on so that they can't mass. Their T2 is power hungry, so there's their weakness.

Massive scout rush harrass dowsnt work for IG.

they can kill u easily by using the cheap hero, 3 commisar and 2 techpriest.

they is no way you can defeat IG in early game as they their guardmen is very strong and if all fails they can run into their bunkers and spoil your rush. Even without bunkers guardmen alone can rape anything that leave the base.

And commisars just kill off the whole morale issue,hell i think they dont even need to upg their morale thing as commisar keep all morale up forever. I also heard that Commisar heals troops also it this true?

IG guardman is not too strong, but i agree Commissar is a stronger unit .......... However do u use IG vs eldar b4? in the early of the game Farseer + Guardian is easy to win IG.. that is becoz Farseer skill is powerful to kill the IG Commissar..... so if commissar become weak how do IG vs a eldar ( that is really hard man)

And u say the Commissar keep IG morale up forever, i agree that and this is true but Commissar is limit on 3 and it is cost $80, 40 (power) this is not a cheap unit .. and do u think the IG Command squad (hero) is too weak? although it is cheap $120, 15 (power)

i post this becoz i think commissar is not a big imba, and hope ur can enjoy the game gl hf and dont scold me if i say wrong..

The reason for scouts is you can get them cheaper and faster. Scouts are not for frontal fights, just to 'disturb' IG's points.
Marines are slower, and reinforce for 50, IG, they reinforce for 20, and if a commissar in their group, they can melee your marines and it is always in their favor.
You need the resource to get to T2, imho.

As an SM player i learn when vs IG ian always in the disadvatage until tier 3.

Anyway i tried ASM on IG today.. Hey they kinda work but i still lost now i need to get a proper strat maybe a mix of ASM with TAC marines with bolters and rockets and its GG for IG.

Edit: I tested it out today it failed also cause yeah it drags the enemy back to their base bu then the defense is crazy turrets with bunkers it impossible to atk them. Ig is way to though to beat... they are practically the next eldar.. I think the reason why IG is so OP as their offensive is already insane and their defends is way to strong as relic "defensive orriented race".

I think SM vs IG is way to hard to beat.

I wonder how other races facing with IG those who play other Race What ur feedback with IG.

hey guys, i tried direct host and my friend direct joined me.. he stays at damansara heights and i live in bandar utama .. when the game loads.. on my screen it instantly shows i win and for him he gets an error msg saying something about game data sync error game data not detected..

cmd squads are really for counter heroes and infantry commanders(sergeants, aspiring champions, etc) only, period. And the fact that Execution makes Kasrkin + Guardsmen shoots faster and effectively is no small feat. 3 is enough to cause total manslaughter if you build gruond troops.

Deep Striking IMO is one of the many good ways to break IG's formation. Deep Strike a FC/L/C/ Dreadnaught and focus fire on infantry commanders... should make chops out of them.

But 1 Question though: Does Execution stack with each other? I always see a denser circle when i Executed 3 Guardsmen at the same time......

Well, I buy original games most of the time... And this is one game i will definitely buy original coz i am a big fan of Warhammer 40,000 universe...

And i found the problem... I participate at Adeptus Modificatus at the Relic Forums... so i forgot i modded the game. After removing the .rgd files that were modded, the game is ok already.. hehe had a nice game with my friend after that..

Anyways, thanks for the intro to that program.. coz my friend he has original too but he cant create profile for an GameSpy account. Keep ormpting him saying that his password is not accurate.. But he just signup only.. weird..
