Update on 16th May 2005:

we have recently been asked to upgrade to patch 1.3, as the patch was just released.

if there are objections to the patch, please ONLY PM me. if the response is significant we will revert back to 1.2.

if you agree, no need to PM me.

So What do DoW Gamers think ? v.1.2 or v.1.3 ?

We understand that if u want to continue practising online before the tournament that you will need v.1.3 so tell us!

i suggest 1.2, since we know the tournament using 1.2 last time, i think not only myself, other player also keep practising patch 1.2. and 1.3, there is a lot of bugs been solve, but for chaos is getting strongest among other races!!! if u r a experience dow player, then u know. i have pm king_kong for the reasons.

the competition, is it 1v1 ?

There is not suitable for the Tournament using patch 1.2, actually a big tournament or national tournament will be use the latest patch ( Include all games ). All the organiser of the tournament will update the recent patch before the tournament coming. We have knew the tournament is held on June 10 - 12, that means we still have alot of time to prepare it. I suggest to use the newest version ( patch 1.3 ), because there are few reason for that. First, as a DoW participants, we must train hard and also watch those expert replays.. but all of these is using patch 1.3, so dont tell me that u will train 2 v 2 with the Insane computer ..? If like this, the tournament is no quality at all, am I right ..? I strongly suggest the tournament will launch with patch 1.3 ... otherwise some of the participants will not statisfy for the tournament. As what I said, please update the tournament patch to 1.3, somemore this is a Big Tournament .. I hope my suggestion can be accept . Thank You .

1 more important thing .. please inform us when you guys will comfirm the patch for the tournament is coming next month . As a player we have to know this as soon as possible, because this is urgent and the patch 1.2 and 1.3 is totally change alot.. if we can't get the information as early as we can .. this is really hard to train for the game, I hope you guys will understand what i said. Other than that I also hope the tournament will be choose patch 1.3, Thank You.

The KL Preliminaries are scheduled in June itself :

10th-11th June @ Low Yat Plaza. > KL-Selangor State Finals.
[Friday & Saturday]

12th June @ Low Yat Plaza. > National Finals.
[Sunday]
