Well.. i use to get ASM when i 3 vs 3 with my clan. If the AI and Fuj gone aggresive the ASM could attually work.

Compare to other range infantry, IG not that great tho'.

What version are u playing anyway? In both 1.4 and 1.41 IG Guardsman out shoot tactical marines/chaos marines anytime if they are without bionics/Heavy bolters/plasmas.
