1840 post later, the x100s is announce ..... yay!!!!!!!!

Fuji X100s is a good step for those who are still thinking of buying a good camera without the need of changing lens and zooming in (or out).

I am temptedwith X100s..the improvement reli does bring alot difference!

The camera not launch yet, no pics and no hand on, how you know?

i wonder how u guys with x100(im one of u guys) feel about this upcoming x100s. do u really need to wait for it? or better wait for the next model after x100s, by that time i think its nearly perfect. so should i sell my x100 and wait for it? i don't think so. no point going tru all the spec sheet again and again. just go get urself a x100 now and if x100s is really so damn amazing then u can get urself another one. simple as that. i bought my x100 just because it look so damn retro and from then i start learning photography until now.

well, im one who own X100. Very happy with it. A demanding but fruitful camera.

hmm, X100 to me, its classic, its the 1st of its kind and will definitely stay with me. Never thought of selling mine even if im gonna upgrade.

In fact, i sold off all my Nikon system and remain with only X100. Spec wise, sure tempted with X100S.

Agreed with what u said, maybe waiting for next model after x100S will be better.

The Better processor, better sensor, better focusing, better startup time, less shutter lag, will only help you get more good picture, by the end of the day, X100 also manage to get good picture, just a little bit harder.

Why many love and hate X100, because its hard to master, but once mastered, you nail quality photos, thats satisfaction.

In sum, i will get X100S if budget allow and keep x100 as backup

The X100s uses an X-Trans sensor like the XP1/XE1 so pics should be similar.

Having both the X100 and XE1, I don't know if I'm imagining things but the pics look subtly different...

The XE1's seem sharper and more clinical while the X100's seem to have more.....'soul'. (hmm.... I sound like a 'Leica' fanboy now.... .)

It would be interesting to see how the pics from the X100s compares with the X100.

For me, other than the flexibility of changing lenses and having a zoom with my XE1.... I still prefer using my X100.

Engadget says the price is USD1300. If thats true, I think I want to try XE-1 first.

I already got Olympus Pen...not gonna get another system that change lens, thus X100/X1--s is perfect for my daily walking usage
