QUOTE(dugung76 @ Dec 30 2012, 01:16 AM) I don't know, everytime I try to take pictures. It can't seem to focus on the subject. Always blurry... Maybe this camera wasn't meant for me tho. how close is the subject?X100 cant focus for close subject, u need either MF, or switch to macro mode Added on December 30, 2012, 1:24 amI dont mind comeout meet up and show u This post has been edited by hidden830726: Dec 30 2012, 01:24 AM |

QUOTE(hidden830726 @ Dec 30 2012, 01:23 AM) how close is the subject? I actually do love this camera so much. I did tried MF mode tho... I must have done something wrong in between. I would love to meet up but I'm from Kuching tho. QUOTE(dugung76 @ Dec 30 2012, 01:49 AM) The same.. I just don't get it unless i turn to Auto focus then it turn out ok. So problem with manual focus, k, how u manual focus? u use the focus ring? Do you try the AEL/AFL button?p/s Love all your photos Hidden.. they are wonderful. MF-> press AEL/AFL button and focus.. u try that before? IMO, X100 focus ring is too clumsy to use. Just use the AEL/AFL button. Nowadays i shot X100 use MF, seldom use AF already. and to focus fast AEL/AFL button come to help. It blur sometimes, but might not be due to camera, it could be... 1) your hand shake, or u press shutter too hard 2) Subject move So, to avoid 1 and 2, set shutter speed at least 1/60 and above, 1/125 even better to avoid 2 MF should be sharp enough as long as your distance to the subject never change |

Press the AEL/AFL button once while in MF mode and it should get focus.
If it dont work Check the setting menu: AE/AF lock mode = on/off switch * AE/AF lock button = AF-L |
