I guess the more expensive the flash is, the better it is in manual mode? manual mode is generally the same for all flashes..  it is all based on experience, guesswork plus trial & error  but the higher end flash can go down to 1/128 power... the lesser ones can only reach 1/64 power.... |

Very discreet.Focusing confirmation done by the color of the focusing square. There's also an AF! warning if its out of focus so shouldn't be that much of an issue. |
