I'm looking to buy X100 in the near future. Can I know where can I get the JJC lens hood besides Shashinki? *the items there are overpriced*

Sigh still in dilemma.

Aiming for X Pro1. But prefer X100's 23mm rather than 35 or 18 =(

I know the IQ is about the same level.

the 23mm is equivalant to a 35mm coz of the crop factor...so the 35mm on the X pro 1 would be around 50mm

that's why.. 35//50mm for me is a bit too 'tight' for a walkaround lens.

anyway how the X100 AF improvement so far?

don't worry so much about the tech spec of the camera bro...get something u're comfortable with and just shoot...no matter how tight or not in the end its the composition and the quality behind the photo taken...who cares about image quality...sharpness and image quality are over rated according to the world's best photographer, Mr Henri Cartier-Bresson biggrin.gif I'm just saying hehehe

in the end both the x-100 and the x-pro is a very very good camera..or better still join the club and get a leica heheheh tongue.gif

learn zonal focusing, any camera will need zone focusing skill for street shooting.

Just gotten my Wide Lens WCL-X100s (Silver) from Japan.
Solid build lens & clarity is superior; surprisingly it is quite small.
I can attached my 49mm filter onto of it..
Will test out more on the field.....
*Original hood can be attached on this lens.

Photos taken by Ip4s..sorry for the quality.[attachmentid=2910364][attachmentid=2910364]
