where was it ? somewhere in europe?
*
not all in europe...it was a bit of here and there..Mediterranean, europe..etc etc... =)

this is a shot of my beloved Fuji X100. Shot this with the Leica M6 + Voigtlander Nokton 50mm f1.1 + Kodak Colorplus 200 (converted to B&W in Aperture 3)

Shoot RAW + L consume more battery?? Is it True?? I just did it and found that 2 ori battery can't even cover a day of outdoor shooting....swt~

i'm worry about that because fren just asking me to help shooting for his actual day wedding and i only have 2 ori battery on hand...this is my first time as well =(

Any idea??
*
may be should try not to use so much of the LCD and electronic view finder...and dont ue the fast start up..and also just shoot in raw...and what i do is that everytime after i shoot i seldom preview the shot..i treat my Fuji x100 like a film camera as i do my M6...then again that is just me but somehow that saves my batt =)

Mostly i use LCD for shooting but i do set as fast start up and i though it could save more battery...

Means you using OVF most of the time?? and what type of focus style you use often??
Your europe photos just simply awesome and is it Raw file??
*
Some i shoot in jpeg but most of it are raw...i focus usually using center weighted focus...once it is focused then only i frame the shot..the same thing when i do when i shoot with any rangefinder cameras except the X-100 has the autofocus hehehe...yup i use OVF all the time unless if i shoot macro...i seldom shoot and preview the shot so i save some batt life from juicing out by using less LCD time. And btw i dont shoot in Raw + L....i shoot only RAW..may be that helps too? im not too sure

Sigh still in dilemma.

Aiming for X Pro1. But prefer X100's 23mm rather than 35 or 18 =(

I know the IQ is about the same level.
*
the 23mm is equivalant to a 35mm coz of the crop factor...so the 35mm on the X pro 1 would be around 50mm

QUOTE(zemmien @ Jun 18 2012, 02:25 PM)
that's why.. 35//50mm for me is a bit too 'tight' for a walkaround lens.

anyway how the X100 AF improvement so far?
*
don't worry so much about the tech spec of the camera bro...get something u're comfortable with and just shoot...no matter how tight or not in the end its the composition and the quality behind the photo taken...who cares about image quality...sharpness and image quality are over rated according to the world's best photographer, Mr Henri Cartier-Bresson biggrin.gif I'm just saying hehehe

in the end both the x-100 and the x-pro is a very very good camera..or better still join the club and get a leica heheheh tongue.gif

Why worry so much on the technical aspect of a camera (fast AF, iso performace, focal length, *megapixels* well my Leica M8 just have 10.3mp, blablabla). I know I don't tongue.gif hehehe
Just focus on your composition and learn more about lighting or if you want a reliable focusing system there is such thing as manual focus *just sayin* biggrin.gif

Who needs the X100s when the X100 is already a-no-complain-camera for me. rclxms.gif Unless if i seriously bust the camera up bad.

Anyways here are some recent shots from my beloved X100

dust particle enter to the viewfinder, i dunno how this is happening, anyone has this issue b4? and is it fixable?
but i guess that the thing that bother me for now, in the super bright side~it gives me edge to edge sharpness, and unexpected good dynamic range

blow up 300% no problem!
(my photography skill no yet reach, still got lots to learn in controls, do C&C!)
Silent operation and i snap like a ninja, all i need is my right hand and shoot all the way down!
Saw and heard lot of people complaining about slow operation, but once i turn on, it never stop me from shooting

still hasnt completely explore and discover this unique camera yet, may need guide from all Fuji sifus cheers.gif!
