seems to me that we did alright considering the starting 11 and all the injuries...im not surprised but past records were bleak prematch...

anyeays, im happy for the valueble win, and also for the youngsters and 2nd stringers that got a run out...and i also hope that things will get better for carrick and paark...

Agree with this. Always confident and stand for your club. Yeah you still support United and be a fan of United if United lost the game but by predicting United United means you're not stand for your beloved club.
Who in the whole world wide didn't play like shit when they are not fully 100% fit? Beside he was the only experienced midfielder beside Fletcher that we all had left.

Torres?

You sure?

United were so desperate in the last game for a midfielder (only 6 midfielders brought to Spain including Gibson) and i'd say, Carrick's involvement in the game should not be questioned. For god sake, we've won the game AWAY from home and yet there are non-stop talking about selling player just for ONE focking bad game.

WTF is this?????

wtf.. im not even with the guys who say Carrick had a bad game/sell him. I'm merely stating that there are players that can play well despite not being 100% fit. Hence I purposely bold the part I'm trying to reply. Torres is just an example.

And I'm sure, remember Torres playing against us even when he's not fit?

I didn't say that directly to you. I separated the sentence don't worry. I was referring to the newbie's post and his thread about Carrick.

i would say bold move by SAF to put in RIO, ANDO and CARRICK.

xpeacially ANDO and CARRICK in midfield, what? 1st time partner this season? Or for a long time?

both bit slow, jst like park, hopefully they will eventually step up the gear...

RIO + VIDIC = peace of mind.

Good thing is that rio and vidic is back. Second thing is the youngsters impressed me a lot like chicarito kiko and nani. Bad thing was we were not very creative with Anderson carrick and Fletcher in the middle.

But nani is so hardworking to track back and defend. Love the build up to the goal. Very fluid play. Great finishing from chicarito.

I'm loving Nani more and more these days... notice how well he's keeping the ball when he's dribbling with it...

Last time he just used to dribble dribble and dribble till the dead corner then go laut.. bola kena rampas or some bad crosses, but now he's more intelligent with the ball, good to see that.

Kinda reminds me of the progress of C Ron... when C Ron just came to the team, he used to ALWAYS dribble ALL THE WAY to the dead corner.

p/s: it will be nice if we can see Nani try to cut inside more often from the flanks and shoot outside the penalty box drool.gif That's what C Ron is so good in.

HAHA SAYONARA THAT KID.

Anyway referring to another topic posted in Lowyat about Carrick, did he play that bad, until he deserves his own topic?

I rate THAT KID and SAF is my good friend. So, THAT KID will stay. Diouf will go. tongue.gif

VDS: made a couple decisive interception, but he also missed a cross, luckily Soldado didn't scored

Rafael: improved play, especially defensively, but physical disadvantage saw him struggle on several occation

Ferdinand: showed the team what it had missed, organized the back well

Vidic: solid as usual

Evra: still not that efficient on the attack, and was having trouble dealing with Valencia's right wing

Carrick: missed pass here and there, but managed to play full match is a good sign

Fletcher: shaky start, but improved in the second half

Park: still not in form, heavy first touches, and poor on the decision to distribute the ball

Nani: almost invisible in the first half, however managed to make several good runs in the second half and started the winning goal's momentum

Anderson: a little disconnected from the team resulted in inaccurate passing, more games will help

Berbatov: really need a striker partner, can't do much up front alone (although the dribble that lead to 1 on 1 was good)

sub:
Chicharito: scored the winning goal, and hit the post once, nuff said

Macheda: just barely came on the pitch, and bam another golden touch from him

O'Shea: tool for delaying time

Great analysis.

His movement that lead to our first goal against Bolton last weekend was awesome and very C.Ron alike.

Meh.

Who created the topic on Carrick? He played well in Community Shield despite being benched for quite some time. Last night, he played well. You have to discount him for not being match fit. Same goes for Park. Fletcher, on the hand, should be questioned. Played numerous of times this season already and I still think that he's not on his usual form.

I'd say drop him for Ando this weekend. Partner Carrick with Ando. In the mean time, we could wait on Hargreaves. YES .. I SAID IT. HARGREAVES! Sunderland isn't it? A bit tricky but we will try to manage it.

hernandez really did us a huge favour yesterday. I thought macheda passed a little early but hernandez really finished like a veteran!

Really good to see Ando back in the line-up too smile.gif

my comment from ManUtd vs Val match

1- i question the reason why SAF deployed Berbatov as lone striker in the first place
2- Both Carrick and Rio is back for duty,if Hargreaves is in i'm happier(anderson?meh)
3- there's nothing much to say in the first half, but our defence improved significantly with the reintroduction of Rio
4- Carrick still not in his form, but i see he improved greatly in the 2nd half(it's like riding a bicycle after like 1 year not doing so)
5- Hernandez already showed his prowess when he's in
6- Valencia gave me some kind of concerned as well.especially that particular cross that only need a little tapping(Thank God their striker is short)
and last but not least

7-CHICHARITO!!!!!!!! rclxm9.gif <---pretty much my reaction.i'm so sick of draw with a decent team

my advice to SAF,keep Nani,Keep Hernandez, keep Macheda.Don't sell this dudes(especially to some filthy club in madrid) and persuade them to live a low key life(british tabloid:the worst)

we played at away, and against an in-form-top-of-the-table Valencia, so i guess SAF went a defensive route, and sub on both fast-paced Chicharito and Macheda when opponent got tired at the second half of second half

for Anderson, well he hasn't played with the first team guy quite often yet, hence those miss passes, however his ability to run and his skills will be valuable once he gel with the team, more matches will definitely help that, same case as Carrick

just found out that we ended valencia unbeaten home run

It also ended Valencia's 11-match unbeaten home run in Europe and was the La Liga leaders' first defeat this season.

1. SAF has applied a safer approach. The way valencia attacked us was just so scary hence the 4-5-1.
2. And you are so sure that Hargreaves will make you happy based on... He didn't play for years, what if the result is not like you wanted? Anderson managed to make me happy last night.
3. Agreed.
