United were so desperate in the last game for a midfielder (only 6 midfielders brought to Spain including Gibson) and i'd say, Carrick's involvement in the game should not be questioned. For god sake, we've won the game AWAY from home and yet there are non-stop talking about selling player just for ONE focking bad game.

wtf.. im not even with the guys who say Carrick had a bad game/sell him. I'm merely stating that there are players that can play well despite not being 100% fit. Torres is just an example.

Anyway referring to another topic posted in Lowyat about Carrick, did he play that bad, until he deserves his own topic?

VDS: made a couple decisive interception, but he also missed a cross, luckily Soldado didn't scored

Rafael: improved play, especially defensively, but physical disadvantage saw him struggle on several occation

Ferdinand: showed the team what it had missed, organized the back well

Vidic: solid as usual

Evra: still not that efficient on the attack, and was having trouble dealing with Valencia's right wing

Carrick: missed pass here and there, but managed to play full match is a good sign

Fletcher: shaky start, but improved in the second half

Park: still not in form, heavy first touches, and poor on the decision to distribute the ball

Nani: almost invisible in the first half, however managed to make several good runs in the second half and started the winning goal's momentum

Anderson: a little disconnected from the team resulted in inaccurate passing, more games will help

Berbatov: really need a striker partner, can't do much up front alone (although the dribble that lead to 1 on 1 was good)

Macheda: just barely came on the pitch, and bam another golden touch from him

I'm loving Nani more and more these days... notice how well he's keeping the ball when he's dribbling with it...

Last time he just used to dribble dribble and dribble till the dead corner then go laut.. bola kena rampas or some bad crosses, but now he's more intelligent with the ball, good to see that.

Kinda reminds me of the progress of C Ron... when C Ron just came to the team, he used to ALWAYS dribble ALL THE WAY to the dead corner.

p/s: it will be nice if we can see Nani try to cut inside more often from the flanks and shoot outside the penalty box That's what C Ron is so good in.

1- i question the reason why SAF deployed Berbatov as lone striker in the first place
2- Both Carrick and Rio is back for duty,if Hargreaves is in i'm happier(anderson?meh)
3- there's nothing much to say in the first half,but our defence improved significantly with the reintroduction of Rio
4- Carrick still not in his form,but i see he improved greatly in the 2nd half(it's like riding a bicycle after like 1 year not doing so)
5- Hernandez already showed his prowess when he's in
6- Valencia gave me some kind of concerned as well.especially that particular cross that only need a little tapping(Thank God their striker is short)
and last but not least

7-CHICHARITO!!!!!!!! <---pretty much my reaction.i'm so sick of draw with a decent team
my advice to SAF,keep Nani,Keep Hernandez,keep Macheda.Don't sell this dudes(especially to some filthy club in madrid) and persuade them to live a low key life(british tabloid:the worst)
