dunno what had changed him...first he screwed with his own life, then he screwed with the club and the manager who had stood firmly to protect him when the whole world is against him....a sad day indeed for the gaffer, the club, and the fans....

its sad to see him leave, but club>player, so good luck out there, and thanks for all the contributions all these years...

if he chose to run away to avoid the media, then i'd say he'd made a huge mistake....United (especially SAF) never fails to defend its stars from the media....from Beckham to Ronaldo

it must be very heart shattering for the gaffer to make that announcement....like a father who do everything to protect his child, only to discover that he didn't appreciate it at all...sad.gif

Nice picture.

Even if the best player turn his back like this, i would take others over him anytime. Ronaldo didn't act like this ..

True.

QUOTE(yfchin2 @ Oct 19 2010, 10:14 PM)
ronaldo is different..he achieve everything in MU and he wants new challenges..that is why he left....

rooney???i dont see anything in him...yeah he is the top scorer last season...but wat had he really achieved...and he screw some chicks and got into trouble and said he did not get the support he wants and  wanted to leave...
*
Actually, he has won a lot of major trophies same as Ronaldo did. Except for personal awards.

QUOTE(schmeichel7 @ Oct 19 2010, 10:17 PM)
Ronaldo left in good terms. He has already won everything here. Madrid was the club he supported since his boyhood days. He also had no issues with Sir Alex and are still in speaking terms until today. He wanted to leave after the UCL Finals 2008 but I guess Sir Alex advised him to stay for at least 1 more season in order to get the best deal with Madrid. In a way.. he left in good terms.

As for Rooney................ If he really leaves. He won't be forgiven. First, he said he wanted to stay until the rest of his career. Second, he was the one who screwed up with his private life. Third, he infuriated Sir Alex.. if you mess around with the gaffer.. as Becks, Stam, Ruud, Ince, Kanchelskis, Keano...

Really disappointed to see this. The gaffer clearly looks gutted.. never have we seen him admitted as early as this... even before the season has ended.. This is a sign of something not right happening behind the scene...
*
We all knew about Ronaldo's wishes. Hence, he left on good terms. Rooney, hmm.

WAYNE ROONEY ROONEY

Nice chant. So, this is how/what those Everton fans felt during his switch to us years ago...

Wayne Rooney, thanks for your services. As much as I am gutted you're leaving, I hope you do well at your next club.

Maybe SAF can persuade him to stay? nod.gif
It's the spotlight that he wants to get out from... from all the scandal nonsense...
If he goes, it'll be out of England!

I actually feel really sorry for Sir Alex right now. He must've treated Rooney like his own son and now he's getting betrayed like this.

I dunno dude, from what Fergie said, I don't want Rooney to make a U-turn. He can f off if he wants to. It's not the way to treat the old man after what he has done for him. This is bull shit...

I think the fans can't accept him after what SAF said and what he reacted in the last 6 months. Oh well, United lives on. smile.gif

You know, this could be the very season our form is quite shite. Unsettled dressing room thanks to Wayne. When a star spoke about his desires to leave the club, it will affect the surroundings.

Imagine, what would those youngsters think? United will be just a stepping-stone club to those luxurious clubs such as RM, Chelsea and City.

I hope, we could settle this issue a.s.a.p. Then just focus on our matches. So long SAF is still around, I won't have any doubts on the team.

All these while I thought Ferguson is driving players away from the club and hes responsible for making rooney want to leave the club, But after reading his candid interview, I actually feel so sorry for him. This is the first time I pity Fergie. Clearly, he treats Rooney like his own son, really took good care of him and gave him the support he needed, until he got back stabbed by Rooney.
If Rooney really leaves Man Utd, its going to be a big blow to the Club, the Fans and the players. Its going to very hard to find someone like him. He is at the moment really irreplaceable. No wonder, Ferguson is so disappointed and speechless at the moment. Normally he will be the one who decides who stays and who goes, but now his Star player, one of the best player in the world and one of the best Man Utd players ever, wants to leave the club. Thats why Ferguson is in shock cause he has never been in this position before.
