hope ferguson will bring in more top notch midfielders in jan transfer window.. scholes has been superb since start of season, but don think his body could keep up with barclay's hectic schedule. Its good for ferguson policy to always nurture young talents.. but this season we need some real dominance force in midfield. we have been drawing all the games away from home with mid ranking teams.

We rarely sign player in January. let alone top notch midfielder. What we do really need are some bloody rich Pak Arab to buy us laugh.gif
Ok. done with the joke. it is has been agree but all united fan that we need to reinforce the midfield. but then nothing happen. nobody has been signed. what the reason is we dunno. maybe just maybe if we really sell rooney than we might see a new player. but i can bet d*** no one fergie will sign even he sell the entire team. there is no such value in the market. haha. ok joke. but here my prediction and i can assure this will happen

Ronaldo out : Valencia in

Not going to care much into whats in the tabloids nowadays and only focus whats happening on the pitch, and what we are seeing are facts and thats

Wazza has NOT been the same as before, let alone like last season. Even before he showed any consistent form, he was never this bad. So timid and

looking not brave enough like he used to be when he was younger.

i dunno ler, but doesnt SAF prefer buying players which are just under the A-list... or hidden gems... he doesnt often go for high profile, top of their game, expensive players.

On that note, doesn't kosuike honda seem like he can provide some kind of ingenuity, speed and a pretty good free kick. At he's fairly cheap, 15 mill pounds, I think about the same price as what we paid for Ando. Wenger can't be that wrong in terms of rating him so highly can he?

there's still some people here who prefer Tevez over Berbatrickhero? laugh.gif

Well, it's Champions time and we're hosting Bursaspor. Hopefully a win will lift the team up smile.gif

Anyone think Anderson playing badly last Saturday? I don't want to point fingers but I think he's the weak link in our fields that day, along with Rafael in the last 20 minutes, seems like out of gas and made lots of mistake.

anderson is a dissapointment. He's got good acceleration, appears strong enough to brush off players, but then he doesn't seem to have a very good footballing brain.

As the game wears on he dissapears. Bad positioning, bad playmaking.

as much as i like rooney , i think at age 25 , he maybe overburnt and over rated by the british media.

he did not score too many goals where rightfully ,playing for a team like United where scoring chances are plentiful , he should . he should have sign a contract extension as offered by the club before the world cup but his agent keep insisting he will sign after the world cup and now look what happen .starting to look like david beckham saga before he was offloaded to Real by SAF . remind me of Michael Owen too at Liverpool. no club would wait for contract about to expires and let players to hold ransom or even worse , let potential buyers have the upperhand on negotiation for transfer fees

he could not carry the team on his own while playing for United or England and if the media stories is to be believed , he's getting big headed

i think SAF and David Gill is at this moment doing risks calculation for the transfer fee , schedules and destination. at this time , i tend to believe rooney leaving may be imminent. hope i am wrong though

P/S

mass suicide . no way . Rooney has never been a pin-up boy or face of United like Beckham or CR7 or Cantona.
All this demand for higher wages and visiting prostitutes is caused by him which coincide with his drop of form and lost of confidence

Keane offers Rooney advice

QUOTE
Manchester United legend Roy Keane has told unsettled striker Wayne Rooney to look after 'number one' after he reportedly decided not to renew his contract.

The 39-year-old Ipswich Town manager helped the Red Devils win seven Premier League titles before he left in 2005 after falling out with manager Sir Alex Ferguson.

It now seems Rooney is following a similar trail and leaving before his time after publically contradicting Ferguson by stating he has not been suffering from an ankle injury as previously claimed.

It is now understood that Rooney is against signing a new contract at Old Trafford meaning the club's hierarchy could decide to cash in on his services sooner rather than later.

Falling out

"Players and managers fall out all the time," said Keane. "It's part of life.

"If I was to offer advice to Wayne, who is a good lad, I would tell him to make sure he looks after number one.

"Players are pieces of meat - that's how I look at it. When your time's up, your time's up.

"Luckily for Wayne he's at a good age and he's fit."

Along with Keane, David Beckham and Jaap Stam are other players who have left Old Trafford after falling foul of Ferguson, although he does not believe Rooney's exit is inevitable.

"It depends on the situation and whether you have been lied to or not," he said. "But, as usual, we are second guessing what has gone on at the club, which is dangerous."

Jose expects Rooney to stay

QUOTE
Jose Mourinho expects Sir Alex Ferguson to persuade Wayne Rooney to stay at Manchester United as chief executive David Gill confirms the club will comment on the situation at the 'appropriate time'.

Rooney's future at Old Trafford has been plunged into doubt amid reports that talks regarding a contract extension have broken down.

The England striker's current deal expires in 2012 and there is speculation that Rooney does not currently want to sign a new contract.

Rumours of a rift with United boss Ferguson have surfaced following Rooney's omission from the team in recent weeks on the back of allegations regarding the 24-year-old's private life.

The situation has led to suggestions that United will either sell Rooney in January or at the end of the season to avoid the risk of losing the former Everton starlet for nothing.

Real Madrid are among the clubs to have been linked with a bid for Rooney, but the Spanish giants have been quick to rule out a winter swoop for the forward.

And Real coach Mourinho does not expect Rooney to leave the Red Devils, believing Ferguson will talk his star man into signing an extension.

Not available

"I don't think he will (become available)," said Mourinho. "I think the big man will persuade him to stay."

Meanwhile, Ferguson has kept his own counsel, although he looked relaxed as he attended a £1million extension of United's charitable work for UNICEF at Old Trafford on Monday afternoon.

Ferguson will doubtless be questioned on the issue on Tuesday when he is due to attend a press conference ahead of United's UEFA Champions League encounter with Turkish champions Bursaspor.

Chief executive Gill has at least hinted some clarification of the Rooney situation would eventually be made.

Gill said: "We will say something at an appropriate time. But this is not an appropriate time."
