wanna ask u guys whats the importance of f2 on a uwa other than good for low light?? if i have flash i think it should be ok ma..got any other benefits i get from payin that extra bit??

hmm shashinki alredy have (pre-order)NEX5 + SEL18200

need opinion about UWAs, SAL1118 vs Sigma 1020 vs Tamron 1118 vs Tamron 1024 which is good?? (excluding the fix aperture tokina)
yes review in DCM says Sigma but they imho anti-Sony for sure sweat.gif , user/owner's opinion please nod.gif . or any other similar/recomended lenses/brand .

mastering89: well, im using tamron 10-24. i'm satisfied with it sharpness and range. im using it more than my kit lens nowadays.

perfect10: i wont put too much hope up on bokeh. it will have a soft blur background with large aperture, but most ppl use UWA for wide shot of big object which usually end up with large DOF, hence low chance of nice 'bokeh'

im not saying it cant or doesnt have it, but at a very limited situation where u will have really big round bokeh,... mostly are simple soft background. unless u use UWA to snap miniature toys or food.

why F2 (2.8)? wedding photographer just love wide aperture lens, eg: F2.8. because the wide aperture creates low DOF hence able to isolate the background from the subjects.
