a couple people suggested getting the iPhone 4. I was heading off to class and just before I left the room I said, "I HATE Apple!". As I left, I heard the girl who suggested the iPhone say "I don't get why people hate Apple!"
Apple is just flashy. Nothing more.

Android does everything that Apple refuses to do. Did I say Apple? I meant Steve Jobs - oh wait, he IS Apple. The performance, as far as I need it to be, is amazing I'm still shocked by the battery life, especially since cold weather tends to do things to it - experience with my BB This post has been edited by spunkberry: Nov 10 2010, 01:57 PM

I like the keyboard. I don't know about the touch pro. T-Mobile has the myTouch 4G that I opted not to get because of the fact that it didn't have a keyboard lol

Battery life is not really that great, fully charged up at 2am, and then died at 6pm - this is while 3G is always on, with some heavy usage. I have since removed Friendstream widget, and am trying to tweak it.
The keyboard still kinda hard to get adjusted to, find it typing much faster using the on-screen keyboard.
For website with Flash, really deteriorates the performance of web browsing, can't really scroll pages as buttery as you'd expect. Embedded youtube stutters.
Pricing in Malaysia is still unknown, but should be out soon gua. But thinking of selling this for a Desire HD. Any takers? I'll back on the 19th Nov ! LOL

some heavy usage is still heavy usage. 16 hours is already incredible battery life for a phone that does wifi, GPS, bluetooth, constant facebook/twitter syncing and the works. oh and trust me, I know you guys actually have brains here so my language isn't even half as bad as it is on Cupids' Corner

QUOTE(BuFung @ Nov 11 2010, 10:33 AM) 16 hours is not enough... u dowan to go out dinner and worrying the phone out of batt any time... Agreed. 1 day means 24 hours. You do expect your phone to have at least 1 day of battery life, dont you? Finish charging at 2am means that phone stay idle for at least 6 hrs b4 some heavy usage coming in... 16 hours means troublesome

It's a smartphone with wifi, bluetooth and gps capabilities with constant syncing of facebook, twitter and whatever else you have running. The phone is always running, and that already uses battery. Add in heavy usage, and you expect it to last more than 16 hours? Seriously? This post has been edited by spunkberry: Nov 11 2010, 10:39 PM

lol. It;s evident here that it's hard for engineers to reason with consumers. The engineer cracked the head for a design, the consumer keeps wanting more. The advance in battery technology clearly hasn't caught up with the pace of other components of a smartphone.
Relax yo. there's always power management tools like underclocking, and secondary batteries.
@urp7 and @ThisIsBoletaria, more reviews to keep the interest in this phone alive please~
