I want to ask..when we terminate our old line since not using it already, they'll cut it in 1 week time. So they will charge us fully for the next month/bill also? or can I ask just to pay the 1week payment?

I'm not sure how the bill work(is it pay for advance a month or vice verse). I went to terminate on 29sept so the official termination take place on 6 oct but the bill come today and charge me rm110 still.

Guess I have to go TMpoint to futher ask this.

Pro-Rate the last month payment. Same goes to first month when you subscribed it.

D-link when down still shown as connected? IPTV down with error code 200something & PC can actually ping 8.8.8.8 but cannot browse anything at all?

is there some conspiracy going on, everyday when i switch on unifi during night time, it does connect and show green light but i cant access anything, i will have to call unifi center to complain and in 5 seconds, yes, 5 seconds the connection come alive again. are they blocking our connection or is there really server problem? i will terminate this stupid things if problem persist for 3weeks more and continue to use my rm66 streamyx lousy 512, at least it's stable even if it's slow like turtle. paying 149 for something that can't even work properly and wasting heaps of phone calls money, i rather say no.

Site is back up but I'm gonna be moving to another host (dedicated linux box instead of shared hosting) + rebuilding the site.

Got hit by a some new Joomla exploit They were nice enough not to delete anything but left behind some of their files (compressed PHP shell). No idea what the hosting company is doing at the moment. Anyway, saw this coming a while back and I already setup a backup server but it's going to take some time to port it over.

Mind facing similar problem but slightly btter as i still can connect but the speed is veri veri unstable...

i am unsubscribing their craps, very dissapointing, i'm sure they will say no but i'm very sure they have to, since i only use it for 3 days and out of 3 days nothing turn out better, i dun even need many reason, give me one reason y i should stick with unifi

no reason at all, i suggest u just unsubscribe and take digi/celcom/maxis broadband then. im sticking with unifi hahaha

If you r heavy user and downloaders, unifi probanly the only better option..
All others are even worst then streamyx...

That's bad thing about Free Source, full of bugs. I think they just defaced your page without exploit root access on hosting server

Lol, yeah. I found the initial attack vector along with a ly0kha shell scattered among the files in the shared hosting account. Had a feeling this entire month that something like this would happen so I had the site backed up + a static version planned to address the issue. For some reason, they took about 3 hours to compromise the account and I'm guessing that my webhost had an AV firewall which blocked PHP shells while they were trying to upload it.. so they compressed it twice and unpacked it once it was uploaded. My Joomla administrator directory was password protected so I assume that they exploited one of the default Joomla modules (as I never installed any 3rd party ones and disabled most of them). Some googling shows they hit a few other websites with the same exploit.

Doesn't matter anyway, site is back up on a hardened VPS.

UPDATE: Looks like it wasn't just my site that was hit, few Shinjiru servers were rooted.

not sure has this been mentioned but i noticed their VoD services has been changed. no longer use points to purches movies/shows but its going to become paid services ._. now i regretted did not used up the 100 points they gave.
