QUOTE(najminaruto @ Nov 7 2010, 12:28 AM) thanks to you, now I know that AVG really sucks. Poor Czech programmers. I'll try Trustport later. How is your testing of trustport? hopefully you are still ok. This post has been edited by schoene: Nov 25 2010, 02:38 PM

QUOTE(chrisling @ Sep 15 2010, 09:38 AM) It's no harm to try on Avira or any other products you like. The difference of paid and free version of a same product is just the extra functions. There's no such thing that paid version has better detection rate than free one. They are using the same engine and definition for antivirus program. it just hav more fancy stuff and update bandwitdh those are on paid version first wad fancy stuff i mean its those...extra firewall lar....wad wad anti malware

It causes the CPU usage to surge without a reason. After installing the latest version, it seems to be ok already.

Sometimes when Kaspersky detects any viruses in your PC, it will automatically delete & restart PC without any warning. Thats why I have changed to Avira.

Is it the "friendly" virus being deleted? So far, it never restart my laptop without warning. Did you left your PC scan when you are not around your PC?
