I was using [JDMS 1.6 Ultimate Rc2][Hastarin R8.5.1 old cam] build until I used current widget, my battery consumption during idle mode is 52~58maH.
Then I revert back to MCCM SE V3.4(FroyoStone Sense)[kernel hastarin r8.5]. However, I still get back the same battery consumption of 52~58maH. What could be the cause? T_T |

After testing MDJ DHD 4.3 rom is more stable but somehow it has stuttering delay when drag down the notification bar, market download speed still slow everything else is good and stable than MDJ DHD 4.0,
Im returning back to Cedesmith DHD Beta2, my reason ; -Market download speed was fast (<- my main reason) -Fast drag down on notification bar -Smooth 720p (mp4) video playback, -Camera & camcorder fully works, (via fix) |

Different people have different needs on their roms. So cannot say which is best . I'd said most of the roms are stable, reliable ( except for the newer ones based on desire HD ).If you want a cleaner leaner rom , try those based on the Nexus. Changing roms is freaking easy. Just replace the Android folder on card.Oh, and anyone managed to install PaPaGo X5 on their Android HD2? Papago X5 works perfect so far on all the roms I have tested on the HD2 |

QUOTE(edan1979 @ Dec 9 2010, 09:03 AM) I'm also using it right now.1st boot: Found that when downloading & installing from Market, device will become very laggy and unresponsive. Call out no problem (Not yet tried call in) 2nd boot: After tweak there and here for 1 hour, i tried reboot and received call, whole device jammed there after i press "Answer". Cannot cancel call, drag the notification and it stucked in the middle. Then after 2 minutes, it rebooted by itself to Android with Sound Missing (No ringtone only vibrate.) 3rd boot (Current): So far so good, not yet use wifi though during this boot. Battery drain: 5mA~10mA, sometime will go up to 15mA. 09.12.2010 - Battery 100% @ 6.00am. After having 2 times of call, sms, view gallery, video... now at 90%. But too bad now this build in XDA forum was getting hold by admin >.< |

QUOTE(roticanai92 @ Dec 9 2010, 12:48 AM) You can recover all your installed apps and its related data using Titanium Backup ( just do not select the red colored files ). If you wish to recover your SMS/email - select only the appropriate red colored data files. Restore of data takes few minutes onlySome roms if minor upgrades will restore your data automatically after installed Some roms especially those based on Google Nexus will also automatically restore all your data even on a major rom upgrade ( whether is same cook or even different cooks ). You can also use MyBackupPro which offers selective restoration - that is you choose which apps/data you wish to restore |
