yup, Im on testing it
default MDJ DHD release has old kernel (Hastarin 7.6), will not work without patching to new kernel, recommended - Hastarin 8.5

To get the camera work, Im using kernel 8.5.1 and Camfix_HD patches. Result, green image when flashing (auto brightness). Avoid this by manually select brightness level (as long not auto). The camera fx is not yet working. Camcorder mode still not working, do not use it, once use u cannot use the Camera mode and require reboot to use it

This camera Fix should applicable to MDJ Froyo Desire HD, Froyo Z, Glacier or any Desire HD rom base ONLY wink.gif

Changing Android rom on HD2 is very fast. Why don't you just tried it - you will have better answers to your queries. If you are unhappy just delete the Android folder and replace it back with the previous copy

Infact I'd say, go over to the XDA site where this rom is and you can read all the users experiences and installation requirements

Android runs from the SD card. It cannot be executed from phone internal memory

Your official Windows rom is intact. The Android rom will not affect it in any way. You can always backup your Windows rom with either Sprite Backup or Sdp Backup. I prefer Sprite though.

Just tried MDJ FROYO HD v. 4.2:
- New kernel MDJ S7.4HD [OC1420 UV1000 SMARTASS EXTBAT CIFS]
- ROOT (SU + SuperUser Permissions)
- RAM optimization
- Speed optimization
- Fast & Stable
- All build-in apps updated (Maps, Adobe Flash Player, Twitter, Facebook, etc)
- Zipaligned
- Deodexed
- ROM is Adds free
- eReader removed

seems to be less lagging and better improvement compare to 4.1.
sounds are louder and both camera and cam recorder works.

Ya i do agreed that Cedesmith Desire is the fastest. However i am having problem with this ROM. Everytime i reboot, i lost some of my essential files such as memento and Angrybird. In addition to that, the sound is soft. Hence i decided to give MDJ version 4.2 a go. Out of my surprise, MDJ DHD 4.2 seems to be on par with Cedesmith DHD rom if not better.

Both version the spb TV doesn't seem to work.

camera recorder is working on MDJ4.2 but not cedesmith desire ROM.

I don't know whether you all experienced this, camera 360 ultimate works badly with these roms. The autofocus is totally out. However, the original HTC camera works just fine.

Yes! i meant that. Give it a try, i think its worth it. Moreover, the data.img can be interchangable on both
