QUOTE(DrPitchard @ May 20 2012, 01:06 AM) Unfortunately, that is not possible. The current TM phone line/number has to be terminated and upon registration of Maxis Fibre Home, a new number will be assigned. It will be a local area prefix number (etc: 03-XXXX XXXX) for Klang Valley area. We have to terminate TM line before we moved into maxis fiber?After the contract ends, we have to pay RM118 or normal price? |

@DrPitchard
My house will only be ready around August/September 2012. Is it possible to register to lock-on the promotional price now and only install and start the contract when my house is ready? Thanks! |

QUOTE(XeactorZ @ May 20 2012, 10:43 PM) ya, me also Seems there's 1 more disadvantage, although it's subjective. The penalty for terminating the Maxis Fibre contract is "Monthly Amount * Number of remaining months" which is essentially the whole duration of the contract.my house not under coverage while my neighbour (right hand site of my house) is under coverage furthermore, it got disadvantage, which is need to terminate tm home number haiz ... this thing make my parents re think again @@ If the service is not good, then it would be impossible to terminate the service.... I read the earlier posts that UniFi termination fee is RM500 only, which makes Maxis's penalty way higher.... |

QUOTE(DrPitchard @ May 20 2012, 04:12 PM) Yeap, will need a new number for sure. Cause the current one will be terminated by TM and Maxis will come in with a new line. And then after the contract ends, what will the price be?Btw, not many people are aware that this is a LIMITED TIME PROMO only. This attractive package of RM118/month will not be forever. Stated also on the official Maxis website: http://www.maxis.com.my/home/plans_fibre_10mb.asp Those who are really interested, adviced to sign up ASAP before the offer is up. Once the awareness and momentum is there, this offer will come to an end. |
