found that if use furmark 1.9.0 to stress card , no AA will hotter than 8x AA.
not sure if this same goes to 4xx series, but happen on my gtx570.
perhaps someone using 4xx series can give a try?

Card 1 + Card 2: (Assume 2nd card is running at 8x, but GPU-Z shows my 2nd card is running at 16x since there have setting in BIOS to change 2nd PCI-e slot to 16x and 3rd slot to 1x)
Pixel Fillrate = 40.5 GPixel/s
Texture Fillrate = 70.95 GTexel/s
Memory Size = 1024MB (remained)

I cant make 1ghz @1.1v so i made until this far.

since there is more headroom to increase memory clock, will it gives more performance ?

vram chips will heat up if i increase mem clock ?

just want to make sure b4 i increase it.

thanx smile.gif

Damn , whats going on.

I turn on my 560ti MSI twin frost to 1037 v , 950 mhz it just got auto reboot in game!

Should I raise the Voltage? 1037 isnt even the stock Voltage.... I have Silver Strider ST56F , and dont overclock on anything else ,with a 2 years old E8400 , am I going too far here?

3 possibility
1 lack of voltage
2 overheat
3 no matter how many voltage u apply , your chip also cant get stable at that clock speed.

I think 1037 v should be fine, is it not?

I have already adjusted a step over the stock voltage. and the thread says most MSI 560 ti can run at stock volt on 950 c.speed.

In anycase , this is the second MSI 560 TI card I have , the older card have problem running at 950 too, showing artifacts. This card does not show artifact. but still HARD-CRASH the PC >.<

Ugh this sucks sad.gif , Did you see any problem with my PSU ? Is 560 w enough to supply for the O'C ing 560ti?

p/s: I doubt its the overheat problem since MSI Twin frost 2 is a very efficient cooler , was checking up MSI A.burner, says temperature at 60 ish.

hmm, the psu problem i cannot answer you, cause i have no ideal what watt require by the time 560 ti overclock at clock speed 950, and u also mention MOST 560 ti can on 950mhz but not ALL right?
if card showing artifacts means not stable, or you can borrow a better psu from your fren to try it?

I think I got the problem ,I hope.

I was so freaking dumb , I was connecting my 560 TI PCI -E cable to the SATA HDD PSU connector ( which is 12 v/5v/3.3v) instead of PCI E connector ( 12v/12v/12v) ... so obviously its not getting enough Voltage...
And Here I was wondering what is going on since most 560 ti has at least average of 950 O/C capabilities ... , getting 2 card that cant go 950 in a row sounds abit unrealistic.

I reconnect the PSU cable properly now and will report back if things happen again.

how you connect a SATA HDD PSU cable into a PCI-E power socket?? The plugs aren't even same shape. If you plug in the CPU 8pin into a PCI-E 8pin I can understand rclxub.gif
