Mafia 2 Benchmarks

If you are having problems with PhysX please do as the followings:
1) Uninstall Physx from Control Panel.
2) Go to Mafia 2 folder in Steamapps folder and manually install the Physx SS in there.
3) Go to Nvidia control panel and set Physx mode to CPU only, hit apply, set Physx mode to auto and hit apply.

I always reapply TIM whenever buying new GC.
The stock TIM is not good & badly applied.
Just be careful when removing the cooler do not slip off the screw heads while unscrewing laugh.gif

Arrrggghhh!!! I was already happy with my GC as it is.....  cry.gif

Maybe I'll do it next week after I receive my Thermalright Venomous X + Silverstone F12 (x2) fans....  drool.gif (Still worried about it's performance compared to my current Xigmatek S1283....  sad.gif)

Removing the GC's cooler and reappying the TIM won't void warranty right?  hmm.gif

Any tips? Just unscrew and pull?  sweat.gif
*
Depends on brand. Some manufacturer put "warranty void if seal broken" sticker on the retention bracket but some don't.
If not mistaken Palit put this sticker.
Ur GayGay is ok to remove its cooler. Last time I even misplaced some of the screws and managed to RMA it successfully.

Good job guys, mainly new GTX460 owners.

@ kmarc
Your clock is kinda low. Try to push it above 800Mhz @ 100% for benchmark purpose only

@ sevensigns
You may enable voltage tweaking in AfterBuner settings. In case u need higher voltage, of coz higher clocks

@ p_cock01
Great clocks with MSI Cyclone. People said this card is abit expensive but I can see it is worth to buy.

@ tech_frix
I also got download link for Metro 2003 but not convenient to share here. SKID.

Can use AfterBurner for that particular frequency u want.
Nice clocks and temp.

QUOTE(tech_frix @ Sep 15 2010, 08:56 AM)

Try lower voltage, highest doesn't mean giving the most stable clock.
FPS becomes slower could be due to insufficient voltage.
In ur case, I would play with voltage at small bump.

As per siggy it's a Corsair HX 1000W,
and it is a bad idea to SLI a pair of OCed gtx480's with highly OCed i7 proc on a 1kW PSU.
can do better with higher wattage bro, ie. Corsair AX1200, CM 1200 Gold, Seasonic X1200 etc

Do you guys force constant voltage?
*
Yes I do.
QUOTE
The GPU voltage apparently drops with the clocks when in 2D mode. If you overclock a lot, I guess this drop can result in instability. Having the voltage stay constant would obviously raise heat output and power consumption considerably, but if you're really pushing your card to the limit, constant voltage may be necessary to maintain stability.

Hmm is that PhysX on CPU or VGA?? The CPU score seems to be pretty high  laugh.gif  rclxms.gif
*
The PhysX is handled by my GPU, that's why CPU score is inflated.
If PhysX on CPU, CPU score is equal to running vantage without PhysX.
PhysX on GPU is shown in GPU-Z, PhysX on CPU would be unchecked.

default clock is        800mhz / 1000mhz / 1600mhz

while it should be      728        / 900 /      1455

anyone can help me here.

Look like driver issue for me. try cleansweep and reinstall.
other than that may try different driver, gpu-z, reflash bios, etc
