HI all, need some advice from u sifus. My Iphone 4's screen turned into just an apple logo after I 'reset' my phone and refuse to boot up. So I installed itunes onto my PC and did the restoring process. The problem that I am facing is that I can't seem to fully download OS4.1's 598mb. I have tried many many times, actually the ENTIRE day today, to download OS4.1 via itunes and along the way, my internet line disconnects and I have to start ALL OVER again in view that the download zerorizes if the internet link is disrupted. Is there ANY OTHER WAY? I'm really frustrated and disheartened.

hi all..i hav problem activating facetime..when i turn it on, im stuck on "waiting for activation"..im using celcom on my ip4..can anyone help me on this?i've read all the instruction about activating it but it still occur..n it will eventually set to "off" after long time in "waiting for activation"...i've tried it many time already, does it means that i've sent many sms to activate it?as i knw the activation sms sent to international no..is it true?& how much does it cost for every sms activation sent?

Do you really need an iPhone right now? If you do then go ahead and purchase iPhone 4. If not then you can play the waiting game. FYI ... the waiting game never ends. Later when iPhone 4S/5 (or any other name) comes out, you might be asking the same question again "Should I wait for iPhone 6 or just buy iPhone 4S/5 (or what ever you wanna call it)?"

It's just want vs need here.

About the activation SMS, I don't have a single clue on this. Need to check with celcom on this.

1st of all, what is your itunes version? make sure urs is itunes 10..
if still cant, Try download IPSW the firmware manually.. and hold shift -> restore..

i sync my iphone using my laptop,there a lot off app installed,and it;s installed in itunes library too.my bro use my laptop to sync some of his app.but the itunes sync all of it .the way is to untick the apps right ?it's a lot of work,and why do itunes keeps the apps in the laptop ?annoying,then need to sync whole over again


why it force me to transfer ?,and i already transfer,it ask again ..

i think this is bcause i sync with itunes on same pc
my bro hve made his itunes acc on his phone.but after sync with itunes at laptop.now my bro need my password(my itunes acc) if he want to go to app store via his phone ..how to change to normal back

first,i delete all apps in the library (i thought nothing would happen)

usually it will just sync and transfer .but now it ask to remove ?dunno why

I'll try to solve ur problem based on my experience & from what i understand on how 'syncing' works on itunes.

Problem 1
Unfortunately, yes, you have to untick one by one. No other solution to that. And, since u are syncing two iphones to one computer, i suggest u uncheck 'Automatically sync new apps' so that when 'iphone 1' syncs a new app TO the laptop, 'iphone 2' wont install it when 'iphone 2' syncs.

Problem 2
Each app downloaded is only authorized to use with one account. when ur brother registers a new account, or when he is logged on to itunes/appstore with his account, he will still be able to use the app that was downloaded with your account. however problem arises when he wants to update that app whereby app store will ask for the itunes account that was used to download that app. solution? give ur password to ur brother (or log in for him), OR, ask him to re-download that app with his account.

Problem3
If the app is still in your iphone, then u can just re transfer it to ur laptop. u cant delete the app in ur laptop. if an app exists on ur iphone, but is already deleted in ur laptop, then itunes will ask whether u wanna transfer/remove it from ur device. how to recover r deleted apps? if u deleted it to ur recycle bin then u can simply restore them. if the app is still in ur phone u can re transfer them. or ur last choice is to redownload it

prob 2.ok so everytime he want to go to appstore,it ask for login acc itunes,and u said "ask him to re-download that app with his account." how to do this,evrytime he open appstore ,it ask for my password only,there no changing username if im not mistaken .

prob 3.ok so now how should i get rid of this msj "transfer/remove it from ur device" i always get this remove msj eventhough i already transfer it to my laptop ..and i press removes for the 1st time.it delete some of my apps ,and i think its permanent dlete,not to recycle bin.
this problem 3 happen after i dleted all apps in the laptop library,i thought it would be ok bcause there are a lot of apps which are quite annoying too me.

i think u failed to completely dl the iOS 4.1 is due to ur antivirus firewall. try off all ur firewall then u can completely dl n upgrade it to iOS4.1. I faced the same prob last time then i found out this solution.
