Last time my IP4 has sliding sound when i slide up and down inside "setting", after awhile it just becomes silent...
Other apps still got sound though...
Anyone encounter this?

Hi,My iphone 2g version 3.13 is in problem now.

Problem facing:
-Can Answer/Dial call
-Can Sms/Couldnt receive.
-Stuck at Apple Itunes(asked to insert original sim as i bought from O2 Uk)

So any idea to solve it?I do got o2 sim card but its micro sim.Possible to use adapter with micro sim?Sizes fit?Because micro sim chips slightly small.

Hi Folks, I hope this is the correct sub forum to post my issues.

I have JailBroken iPhone 3G running on firmware 3.1.3. It's a locked US set(that has been unlocked)

The issues started when I tried to upgrade the firmware to 4.0.1 just now. What I did was to "Erase all content and settings" hoping that I would delete all the data first then go to DFU mode and start updating.

1 hour passed, I went back to see the iPhone and to my surprise, the phone stucked at an apple boot logo with spinning wheel on top of it. And at times, the phone tried to boot itself only to find the logo with the spinning wheel.

I've so far tried to put the phone into the recovery and DFU mode, but none of thee worked. My PC did not managed to detect the phone, once it is plugged it in. I'm getting worried. Please if you guys know something.

try to use other sim car (buy new) and slot inside the phone.
reflash the firmware again using iTunes,
you can unlock it using redsnow.

ok what you do connect your phone to iTunes while its on DFU mode.
open itunes can restore back the phone.
1st i thought thats they way upgrading the firmware.
but then its failed and i learn from my mistake.

I am still unable to go to the DFU nor the Recovery mode. Been trying forever. Furthermore, my windows XP is not detecting my phone, I guess, everything is erased inside the phone.

yes,you already erase all the data inside the phone.
dont worry.you can solve it.
ok,what you do now,hold the power button for 5sec and then press home button and hold while inserting the data cable.it should be detect at this moment.
its how i did mine.
there more mine i dont have internet connection so iTunes asks me to connect to internet.

Sorry for my noob question..how do I check my baseband ? Also currently running on os4.1 and the phone is locked in a situation tht it's on emergency call when I insert my digi sim card in... But I can gain access into the phone (just like now) when I pull out the sim. What should I do to get it unlock? Thx for any advise.

its under the settings-general-modem firmware. what iphone model you are using?
if 3gs you will need to get the original sim card on where your iPhone from to activate the phone.. Universal sim is not working anymore
os4.1 cant be unlock at the moment
