erm...i bought a iphone3Gs in Hong Kong and recently i juz ungrade the firmware from 3.1.3 to 4.1... my friend jailbreak it and found on the sim card couldnt read at all ... i think i have to unlock the sim or something .. can any1 help me out ?

I find it strange lo. there is so much buyer looking for iphone in malaysia, then y u need to sell overseas? and take the risk. Normally this fake buyer will not ask you much detail on your phone. like age, condition, JB of your phone. U have to make judgement yourself.

I have a few question wanna ask...

1) Lots of ppl worrying abt their iPhone battery lifespan and some worried bout the home button may spoil... Can I ask is it very expensive to replace or repair the battery and the home button?

2) My iPhone call failed currently is getting more and more frequent and normally happen when I was at highway... Is this iPhone or digi problem? Can I send for replacement ah?

3) The last question is a bit "mou liu"...hehehe! I dunno why when I received phone call sometime I need to slide to answer and sometime I need to Tap "accept" or "decline"

Btw I'm using iPhone 4 iOS version 4.1

Celcom has call forwarding every time i make a call. Sometime the call will be ended in few seconds. Do you guys have that problem too?

If you're jailbreaking your phone and don't know why something goes wrong, you clearly should not be considering the option.

a) Are you using handsfree?
b) Which highways?

"Slide to Answer" appears when your screen is locked
"Tap to Answer" appears otherwise.

AFAIK, Hong Kong set is an official unlocked set. Most probably yours is locked set. Another words, the set wasn't from HK. What you can do now is wait for latest unlock tools to be implement.

Stay on 3.1.2, no way you can upgrade to 4.1. As i see from your iPhone model, I supposed that set is from UK. Meaning is a locked set. If you were to upgrade it to 4.1 then no way you can unlock it. Its time to say bye bye.

Hi all, some problem I found happened to my I4 quite few times d...

1. sometime when phone ringing, i slide the phone to answer but no response. I need to hit the lock button once to off the screen, then another time to on the screen only can slide to answer...

2. sometimes after finished call, my screen stuck at back screen with only top status bar... wait for sometime but still remain there, and it cannot register any touch from me. I need to use the off and on screen button only able to "fix" this problem...

Is this my phone problem?

Problem:
Hi if you ever switch from one iPhone to another or restore backup from other iphone, then most probably the sms search feature will only search from your latest received or sent sms but not the sms which already exist in the backup.

This is due to the index in spotlight was not refreshed properly after the back up, i do not know when it will refresh but i have used for few days and the sms search still not working.


Solution (Only for jailbroken phone):
1. Login to your phone using root access by putty from computer or mobile terminal in your iphone.
2. cd "/private/var/mobile/Library/Spotlight/com.apple.MobileSMS"
3. rm -rf *

DONE! and now restart your phone and open up message and wait for awhile it will reindex everything and the search capability is now BACK.

hi,
my iphone4's speaker is acting up
the normal on/off/SMS notification, ringer sound are ok
so is the speakerphone function
but the audio from games/video/youtube are not there, there's just no sound
earphone works fine though

unit is is 2 weeks old, WW41 unit
