In that case,you have to reflash back the firmware and update again using iTunes.Unlock using Redsnow.Because its a carrier lock.

So you mean reflash 3.13 and then connect itunes again?But i still need o2 sim card to get into Itunes then only unlock by Redsnow is it?

Sorry but I m a total noob bout iPhone tech. Wht u mean is I have to downgrade the os to a lower version and jb it with redsnow... Another thing is phone lock n carrier lock is two different thing right? Thx again

you dont need sim card.
just flash back everything using latest firmware 3.1.3 from iTunes.

Carrier lock and phone lock is the same.Example maxis,digi.Its an carrier lock.Phone lock you mean as seems phone security lock ???

helping a fren here... he upgraded his 3GS's OS to iOS4.1 recently (NO JAIL BREAK), after that his Vista can no longer detect his iphone, hence he can't transfer his photos to his laptop.

However, iTune can detect his iPhone.

I've googled, lotsa mentioning on such similar problem, however, no solid solutions on how to fix this.

I've even tried removing the DLL files, and let Vista auto detect & re-install... at the end, same problem.

I'm wondering if any1 has encountered this and managed to solve this.

you can connect to iTunes,so there no problem on detecting.
most probably its Pc problem.try to use other pc/laptop and try again.

p/s:what is MB ?

Did u upgrade to the latest version of itunes? it works for me and some friends with this issue before.

anyone has any issue downloading apps from appstore? mine just keeps 'waiting'... any idea?
is there a limit to dl free apps?

if file size more than > 5mb u just plugged in into pc/laptop..dlod from itunes..then sync later..more easy and faster.

Hows does auto-brightness work? I don't see any difference going from light to dark.

WTA smth with the headphones of the iphone4. I juz try it with my Steelseries Siberia Full Headset and i found out that there are some problems wit the sound (not getting the full sound?). and at the plug there, i notice my siberia has only 2 stripes while c/w iphone headphone has 3 stripes on it. may i know what is causing this problem o is there any alternative ways i can use my headset?

iPhone got its own sensor for light, like the more brighter place the brighter the display. So it's easy to see the display. Sometimes it's very slow to pick up the environment, I have to torchlight the censor so it'll bright instantly in the dark area

hi my fren's iphone 3gs (no jailbreak) fb apps tend to close by itself suddenly. this prob only started recently (bought for few months jor).

for example: while readin fb updates/ post/ browsing picture, the fb app will suddenly close. she hav to relaunch it.

she re-downloaded the apps, but it still the same..

any 1 experience this prob? if so, may i know ho it can b fix?
