guys.. pls... dont give our poor moderator more work to do ok.... dont go typing out a one liner.. i.e thanks.. or answer questions that have already been answered.... or matter of fact ask STUPID questions la.. there is such a thing as google.. or apple's iphone website...

to delete applications.. tab and hold and ap until it jiggles.. there is a small x tap tat to delete..

the manual to all your needs can be found here.. 260 pages of info.. do some homework and dont wait to be fed.. wanna to own an iphone.. atleast act smart...

For those who know about my dad's screen faulty issue, yeah we went to maxis centre TTDI today, they tried a hard reset, as well as factory restore and the problem still persisted.

They replaced it with a brand new iphone (same 32GB model). The guy even transferred the film protector as well. Not bad! So yes the warranty does work.

I saw the same case in maxisiphone4 launch on Saturday but the issue is the screen got very small crack / scratch inside it but the person who had the problem manage to get 1 to 1 exchange . I guess everyone should get a hard case to protect the screen

Just to add to the above, I want to stress that dead pixels or stuck pixels are quite common as well. If you are not as obsessed with this issue as me, please don't check. If you do want to, stuck pixel can be checked with a complete black wall paper (check for glowing pixel which is not black) while dead pixel on a complete white background (check for black pixel that doesnt change color).

Speaking from my personal experience, I replaced my IP4 twice to get a unit with no pixel problem. Maybe I was unlucky but my friend too had this problem and replaced it once. If you google around or care to read Apple forum, quite a number of people have this problem as well.

Just something to share. Dont blame me if you become obsessed with the pixel thing. You might not see it if you don't look hard enough but once you see it, you can't stop noticing it the next time you stare at your screen.

I wonder if anyone here is having this issues but I found one quite annoying bug. Hope it is just software..

I usually used a IEM earphone (isolation earphone) with mic and I notice there is really obvious sound feedback from the environment around me, as if the noise cancellation mic is still active and replaying back the sound back in earphone.

Problem is, the earphone is already isolated so the inverted sound from outside which is supposed to cancel off environment sound is not working as it supposed to. Thus you only hear the environment sound in your earphone.

I saw this is an issues with others in Apple forum too, http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?t...tart=0&tstart=0

Here hoping Apple will be doing the right thing and fix this in 4.2.

i suggest a new thread called iPh for dummies instead. since most users are new and not sure wat to do with their iPh 3GS, or iPh 4.
